The range I go to has area where you can just sit and relax. I buy coke from the vending machine some days and a small thing of jerky, and I enjoy my snack, clean up, and go back to shooting. Some times I just get a hankering for a snack.

Or alternately if I'm hungry while at the range, I just keep shooting. I'm at the range. Then after I'm done I go eat.
I don't even understand how someone would stop to get food on the way to the range because they're hungry, and take that food to the range. Something's really not right with that situation, it reminds me of when someone insists that they're hungry but really they're just lonely so they're eating at the range to be around people.
