You honestly want to know why? It's because hand-oil will ruin the finish worse than if the gun were black. Of course, you could just get a white gun with a black grip, but that's going to look like ass in 99% of cases. They are certainly beautiful guns, but unless you plan on wearing gloves every time you shoot (certainly a viable option, especially if you live in a colder climate,) it's just not practical. Not to mention that, you know... white guns are more easily seen than black guns, especially at night, and especially under a full moon.
