Do you print your own targets? If so how?
>>30208966
Nope. I've been spoiled by the Shoot N' See targets.
With a printer.
>>30208966
>that filename
Uncalled for senpai
Anyway i'd imagine you could just head down to your local office supply store and get a poster or something printed of whatever you want to shoot.
No.
The last time I did got me permanently banned from my range.

I print my own face onto paper and use a marker to roughly make rings. I rarely look at mirrors so it's a good way to accustom myself to shoot a person if it came down to it. The ink is kind of expensive but I refill my own so it's not terrible for occasional practice. Sometimes I try to make smiley faces on it.

Took me a second to get what ya meant. My range allows it and you have guys who frequently print Jihads. I personally just take cardboard silhouettes that I make from all the excess shit around my house.
Targets are damn near the only reason I attend gun shows here. There's a vendor who sells nothing but targets in bulk at a great price.
Laser/Inkjet printing targets can get expensive.
The only other way I buy targets is on occasion when Midway has the Caldwell Orange Peel "seconds" on sale.
I own a print shop, so yes.

Would tell you to kill yourself, but it sounds like you are already working on it
>>30209030
While they won't ban you, (unless you're an asshole about it) Michigan DNR operated gun ranges won't allow any human-style targets.
>>30209075
lol what the fuck
please tell me you where the same clothes to the range that you're wearing in the pictures

> Targets are damn near the only reason I attend gun shows here. There's a vendor who sells nothing but targets in bulk at a great price.
Agreed, on-line vendors are stupidly expensive and just not worth it.
Also, I’ve got an old cordura nylon briefcase that I used to hold all my targets.

This is the kind of autism from old /k/ that I miss.

Self slaughter is forbidden in nearly all religions for a reason.
>>30209532
Given how I only have about two colors of shirts it's entirely possible I did at one point. Only break the targets out when there's no one to get freaked out and call the cops though. Also don't want to throw someone off their range day.
>>30209546
I am a GOT fan, but that is cringe.
yes
I recycle paper from the printer and draw some marks on it. What else do you need?
>>30208966
Printer ink will end up costing more than buying thousands of targets when they go on sale.
>>30208966
I'm a teacher. I have tons of shiny little star stickers and paper with one blank side. When I go to the range, I shoot for the stars.

>tfw this is exactly something my 10th grade physics teacher would do and say before going into a tangent about low earth orbit launching railguns that would wind up on a test
I miss the bastard.
I've designed and printed some myself, but if you're doing huge lots it's cheaper to have them printed by the hundreds at Office Depot or wherever. Just take a USB drive with your PDF targets to them. I get a batch done every couple of years, I'm only about halfway through this batch.

Another thing I used to do is take advantage of photo printing services. Years ago, they would send you promotions in the mail, join up, get 50 free prints or whatever. So I'd send them a "photo" of a target and get 50 photo prints of various sizes, up to 8x10. I don't know if they still do that anymore. Or even exist.
I've still got a few left.
I get large sheets of cardboard for free from my local grocery store and cut USPSA targets out of them.
>>30208966
I make the shoot n see type myself. Its pretty simple and seems to save money.
>>30210445
How?
>>30208966
you can use microsoft paint to make a really simple target and print a billion of them, or just use a marker.
>>30209760
God damn that fits like a glove
So I have access to an industrial-sized ink blotter that's used to make nautical maps, so I can use it to make some pretty decently sized targets.
So far I've just been using standard NRA high power Rifle targets, but what are some more "functional" targets that I can use?
>>30208966
P.T. proves you wrong.
And I print targets for when I zero. Other than that, I just pay the $1 at the range for a couple silhouettes.
Call me redneck as fuck but my printer ran out of ink. And anything I need printed can be done in campus computer lab.
So I draw a circle with a black sharpie on paper. Use a laser rangefinder. My groupings have never suffered.
>>30212566
NRA B8 repair center is a good one for pistol shooting. The 8 ring is an 8" circle which a lot of people use to represent the organs and large blood vessels in the chest. The 5.5" bull can approximate a head.
paper plates and a marker

This.
This site doesn't have free targets. It's a site with a bunch of links to sites with free downloadable targets:
http://www.gun-shots.net/free-printable-targets.shtml
However, the site above is getting old and some of the links no longer work.
These are some more sites with free targets, and the last link is the site with my favorite free targets:
