It's Two Stamp Tuesday, and I'm finally able to submit OC. Post what you've got.

Mine is an 8.5" SBR with a Silencerco Omega

Is that magpul sand? Looks good but it always appears white in other pics I've seen.
>>
>>30201342
Wow
>>
>>30201354
That's a gen2 mag, don't think those were available in sand.
>>
>>30201354
No it's the old Gen 2 mags, in FDE
>>
>>30201342
Sure, here is the 8" 300blk upper and Omega with flat cap for you.

Ah. I'm not up on Magpuls products. I still run aluminum mags.

>>30201396
Where did you get the Tx state logo engraved at?
>>
>>30201406
Current estimates are around 5-6 months I think. It's a shitty wait
>>
>>30201420
Manventure Outpost, $110 for my SBR engraving, the Texas state seal with my provided image engraving, and black Cerakote.

Now I have a couple shops local to me that do deep laser engraving I'll use in the future though if only for convenience sake.
>>
>>30201423
I know.

But atleast i dont have to do the whole finger print and letter to cleo ordeal.

Not even afraid of the finger print thing. But my cleo doesnt need to know what I have, thats bullshit.
>>
>>30201396
A flat cap is on my "to buy" list along with a Rifles Only HAD cover
>>
>>30201466
If I remember correctly, the ATF removed the CLEO requirement yesterday

https://princelaw.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/060216_atf_letter-_to_cleos.pdf
>>
>>30201525
Did you even read what you posted? He was complaining about CLEO notification, which still happens.
>>
>>30201423
That's fast AF. Mine took 9 months + 4 screwing with getting my family to sign the damn thing.

>>30201456
Cool thanks.
>>
>>30201423
Only the past couple years is it considered "long" wait times were 9-15 months depending on time of year before efile launched.

Before it finally shit the bed, Form 1s were clearing in 34 days which was amazing. Once efile is back up and running properly on all of its intended functions and the 41P/F crush calms down hopefully times will start to drop again.
>>
>>30201342
my cousin said that normally only cops can have full autos for personal use, but because he's in the marines he's allowed to buy one too. is that true?
>>
>>30201672
Any citizen who can own a gun can fill out the paperwork to get a select fire rifle. They're just stupidly expensive, the paperwork is a pain in the ass, and approval from the ATF takes a really long time
>>
>>30201770
>>30201672
His cousin isn't talking about actually purchasing a registered receiver. He's a Marine, he'll be lucky to buy a new Mustang without getting it repo'd 3 months later.

Hey buddy. You posted this to reddit a little while ago
>>
>>30202913
The gun communities tend to intermingle. I've noticed a few rifles cross posted between sites

My last suppressor took almost 3 months for whatever form the out of state dealer transfer is. Now I have to go file form 4 and wait probably twice that.

>tfw have 5 stamps in the works
>tfw my 5.5" 9mm AR with Form 1 can won't be a two stamp tuesday for 4 months

That being said I fucked around a lot with the barrel length, 5.5 vs 5 before ultimately going with the 5.5 since a 5" would have a little bit of the threads under the 4" rail. Figure if it is too long I will have a gunsmith cut the barrel down to 5.2 or so, so my can will thread right up to the rail.
>>
>>30208959
Personally I don't like the way a can looks being mounted at the end of the handguard if the can is longer than the handguard. Which is why mine is mounted under the handguard. But to each their own. I also got lucky and grabbed one of the qc10 4.5" barrels before they stopped making them.
>>
>>30208868
I don't have a calibrated meter in a proper test environment, but I think it is pretty apparent that those claims were just cherry picked marketing.

It is just a 6" can with a 1.56 OD, and the baffle design is nothing special. Considering there are cans with more internal volume that meter higher, the 119dB claim is pretty unbelievable.

That being said it is very pleasant to shoot 300BLK subs out of my 8" without earpro, and it would be even quieter on a longer barrel. I bought the Omega because it was a 30 cal can that was only 6" and weighed in at only 14oz. I have no doubt there are quieter cans (in fact the cheaper Specwar from SiCo meters quieter consistently in 3rd party tests) but the size and weight are what attracted me to it.

Its a cool look, but the goal of this is to be as short as possible. Going to use Troy Micro sights, and I have the LWRC UCIW stock in the mail; it's like two inches shorter than a standard stock when closed. The 5.5" barrel is just going to have a thread protector on the end so I can direct thread my can on. It is going to be roughly 18", give or take an inch, when the stock is fully collapsed. Once I get the barrel and my rail, I'm going to figure out exactly how much of the barrel I can cut down. That maximum compactness brah. I'm essentially making pic related, minus a few minor parts, and I'm going for a side charging upper.
