The beautiful nation of germanistan, my ancestral homeland, was surprisingly quick in issuing my 'kleiner Waffenschein' - the only carry license obtainable for the average german. It allows me to carry one blank / pepperspray 'gun' in public.
I got it because I got a small puppy recently and when I'm going hiking next year I want something to fend off eventual wolves, and there's also a home for crazy people and a refugee camp near where I live. I also wanted to make a political statement, however miniscule it might be - but the recent surge in applications for this shall issue license have stirred up the media and politicians quite a bit.
Anyway, I am now in the market for a reliable and easy to conceal pepperspray 'gun'.
I plan to load a few pepperspray cartridges, then a few cs ones and finally top of the mag with a couple of blanks, so that I have a bit of escalation possibilities. So I'm guessing at least 9 rounds capacity.
Any advice is appreciated, also regarding CC, do's and don'ts, what to look for, and general stories related to this.
Probably won't get much traction here on /k/, but I trust you. Also it will be 7 more months before I can get a real gun so this is all I have for now.

However you have to understand that blank guns are absolutely useless, and that's the reason they let you own and carry one so easily. The pepper spray cartridges are garbage, and the whole "firearm imitation" thing might lead the upstanding gentleman of color you are holding up with to believe his life is threatened, thus attacking you with the intent to kill, including with a knife or even a real gun : instead of deescatating a violent situation, pulling up a blank gun might get it much worse.

Well, I actually do want it for the most part to fend off other dogs and I'm hoping a loud bang might do the trick. But yeah I have no illusions about the actual usefulness in an actual SD situation. Probably gonna get a normal spray and I carry a tactical pen and a small knife anyway.
Idk if dindus can make the distinction between fake and real gun tho. Most videos I've seen just pulling out a gun made them run... then again those vids are from the US where a real gun is more likely than here.

I never claimed 2k. Realistically for everything i'd say 3k, because the "used gun" market is overflowing with items.
/k/ameraden, as a fellow german: Please forget the shit with the blank pistols and revolvers. Because:
- Even the dumbest rapefugee can see that theres a bolt in the muzzle and its not a real bang. This is worse with revolvers where you can see the front of the cylinder and the smallish holes
- Because of said bolt, shooting OC aint even that effektive because its flow is blocked by the obstacle in the barrel.
- When you get a Kleiner Waffenschein, the government knows that you are into that kind of stuff.
I highly recommend other OC solutions, especially the Jet Protector JPX and its smaller cousin the Guardian Angel.
Bot systems were made with the sole purpose of shooting OC. They dont look like guns (dabatable with the JPX) so they dont scare your typical Gutmensch. They also are not classified as Weapons in the way blank guns are.
And they are much, much more effektive: Their pepper-load per round is much higher than in a 9mm PAK or Revolver blanks. Also: The Guardian Angel is not considered a Weapon at all so its allowed and possible to mount the available Laser, even here in Gercuckistan.
Please forget other Shit that aint effektive AND will put you in legal trouble like
- Carrying Airsoft (not effektive at all AND Führen von Anscheinswaffen)
- Carrying Deactivated guns (same reasons plus we got a new EU law on deactivated guns)
- Knifes: You really need to be trained to defend yourself with a knife. Also: Fixed blade longer than 10cm: "Führen nicht ohne hinreichenden Grund erlaubt. Selbstverteidigung ist kein Grund"
- Batons: Every left wing Staatsanwalt will think you were looking for trouble and turn you, as the victim, into the offender. (also telescopic Batons have Führverbot außerhalb befriedeten Besitzes)

OP here, the refugees are not my main concern. My motivations are as follows:
1. political statement
Applications for these licenses have gone up like a couple hundred percent since new years. Politics and press noticed this and got mad and thus even more people learned about self defense and our shitty laws.
So I'm doing my part to further stirr the shit. I'm also speculating that if we ever get CC for real guns, those who have had a small CC for a while might get it more easily, or something like that.
I want to show the gov that there is demand.
2. Protecting Doge
I have a small terrier and while she doesn't afraid of anything, she can not fight larger dogs or wolves. Since there are lots of large dogs around and wolves are back in germany, I figured a few loud bangs might drive them away while not putting my own dog in a cloud of pepperspray. But it's good to have that option if bang doesn't work. A normal spray doesn't offer this level of escalation.
3. crime defense
I'm only really outside when walking doge, I rarely use public transport. So because of reason #2, I'll be carrying the boomstick anyway. Sure, there might be better options for the specific task of crime defense, but I think overall these guns are the best solution to my concerns.
Let's face it, if I'm going to get fucked up by criminals, and they don't run from gunshots or gas, they probably would have killed me anyway.
I think these guns are better for home defense as well, since a simple spray won't alert anybody, but a few gunshots might do the trick. The cloud of spray might even set of the smoke alarms and cause even more ruckus.
I also got a kabar and a bat for further escalation.
And I'm working on getting a real gun but it just takes time and hunting is not an option because too time consuming and expensive.

Yeah, pretty much shoot a cloud of spray about 2-4 meter, so not very far. Would be better if they could shoot pepper projectiles but the barrel is obstructed.
The advantage is the ability to load different ammo, ie combining blanks with spray. Also possible intimidation factor that you don't get from a small spray. But spray can have more range, is cheaper and doesn't require a license to carry.

It's actually looking comparatively good for us. The recent push of the EU for even more gun control is getting a lot of resistance and for the first time, all the gun owners and grassroots movements in europe seem to be pulling on the same string.
This kind of concentrated effort of the gun lobby is a completely new development here and self defense is slowly on the way to becoming a more mainstream issue. I kind of like the idea of a pepper spray GUN (vs spray which I see in every gunshop/walmart/etc...)
I mean I already carry a real gun, but like it would be nice to have a LTL/Lethal Supplement weapon like pepper spray; I guess you could arguably do some kind of harries hold on a pepper SPRAY with a handgun, but sprays can also blow back in your face etc.... But if you had like a pepper spray GUN; then you could I don't know, dual wield or something and 'pepper' them with shots from the pepperspray gun, and get them with the real gun if they get too close.
Could be handy as a LTL option, or as a supplement to a lethal option; as in someone who has been pepper-gunned would presumably be easier to line up a center of mass/cns shot on versus someone just running around all willy nilly without having been capsasined in the eye and mouth
