I told you last month. Just buy all of them.

Honestly, get whatever you have the most ammo for.... I have literally all of those except the m95 and they all have their merits.

I think I like playing with my ross the most, but shooting the FN49 the most.
>>
>>30194185
Of what I listed, the Berthier and the Ross are the only ones I have ammo on hand for. I have dies for everything though, its what I spent my Christmas bonus on last year.

Fuck it, I'll probably go with a Berthier, a K31, and a M95. That would only set me back $1000 or so.

You can't substatiate such a claim so it is a non-matching luger, which is only shooters grade at best. Hope you didn't pay more than $600-800.

Sestroryetsk definitely had the best stamp of all of them. Too bad they only made nuggets 1892-1918. A 1918 Sestroryetsk is on my list, one day. But they are rare as fuck.

If no one knows what that is it is a 1895 Winchester. Prob Chambered in 7.62x54r. You can tell by the stripper clip guide on top. They where Russian services rifles and where handed out to other countries like latvia after there services. I really want to get that exact rifle but they are hard to find

Their claim to fame is including over a dozen types of carbines which is pretty neat. The ammo is very scarce so unless you really want a Dutch Mannlicher specifically or are okay with not shooting it very often I'd try something else. I just think they're neat, that's why I bought one.

I had a 1917 non import "Ersatz" Luger, but I traded that straight up for a G43.

I like the commercial 1912 without the stock lug.

Also snagged a P38 Russian capture, still with packing grease under the Ruskie grips. Sold that to fund my stupid expensive HK additions.

My friends fell for the Moist Nugget meme and keep touting them around the range and chirping about their "sniper rifles" (despite none of them even having the bent bolt model).

Is there another cheap milsurp bolt action rifle that'll actually deliver (reasonably) tight groupings to shut them up?
>>
>>30205846
Define "cheap".
>>
>>30205915
Under $400. Non-shit Mosins seem to go for $260-300 right now, so I want to stay roughly in their ballpark for the sake of smugness.
>>
>>30205846
A lot of M39's mosins are fucking noice and around that price range. If you don't mind paying a bit more for ammunition, you can also get an immaculate M48 Mauser from AIM for about the same. Both are decent accurate options although they may need a bit of work.
>>
>>30205940
Get a K31, it has fairly cheap GP11 surplus ammo, which will sub MOA if you do your part.
>>
>>30205846
I think you should go fuck yourself but that's just me.
>>
>>30205940
Well the standard for accuracy of all infantry rifles is 2-4 MOA, though obviously better examples can be found of any type.

That said, a Swedish Mauser can be had for that much and 6.5 Swede is a great caliber for accurate shooting.
If you wanna be a bit of a smart ass, you could also buy a decent Mosin and just tighten the action screws and shoot non surplus ammo. My 1929 ex-dragoon is plenty accurate, for example.
>>
>>30205960

what do you have against mosins? Are you just buttmad you missed out on cheap ones?

Even if you have a better rifle accuracy wise, it is only as good as you, the shooter. Sounds to me though like you just want to have a dick waving contest with the guy, or somehow prove that you have a better rifle by not buying the mosin so you can talk down to him for liking mosins. Stop being a faggot and buy a gun you like. M91s are great rifles, arent all that expensive and ammo is plentiful, whats your asspain?
>>
>>30206030
A good 31 should be under $400 at any decent shop. Hell, there are examples on Gunbroker of all places under $400. The only problem is we're between waves of imports, so you can't buy from the primary market online
You can also get a K191 for about the same price.

>>30206052

For a "poorfag" it may not be the best choice because ammo is kind of pricey. BUT you also probably don't have the time/money to shoot often (I didn't when I was poor) so it may not be as big of a barrier. Either way they're great, accurate rifles and probably the best example of a Mauser combat rifle. Even if you can't shoot it often you should pick it up. You likely won't be poor forever.
>>

>>
>>30207891
I have never been partial to them but I'd like to expand my collection.
It just sucks that milsurp everything is starting to dry up and we may never see it again. Seeing as how modern gear and weapons are destroyed as opposed to being sold off. We may still see semi-autos made from parts kits now and then still, but complete rifles are about to be a thing of the past.

Fuck, and to think as late as recently as the 70's you could purchase surplus artillery.
>>
>>30207860
>m95s for a little less occasionally

Especially if it's a stuzen.

200ish can be found.

Ammo is unobtainium compared to nugget food though. (2+ cpr)
>>
>>30208529
Well I've often said you shouldn't buy milsurp to shoot if you don't reload. Even reloading doesn't make 8x56 cheap though (around $0.55/rnd).
>>
>>30207812
Yeah, I saw Sportsman's Guide has ammo, about $1 a round. Definitely gonna need some work on it too, it's covered in cosmoline, had my hands sticky after handling it for just a couple minutes. Also will def have to look it over better for overall condition, serials, and check the bore.
