What does /k/ think of Stag Arms? Are they just Fudd's AR15?

I've got one. Purchased it years ago. It goes pew pew. I was in the market for an AR platform for years. After looking, reading, and more looking, I settled with stag.
great gun best warranty

i'm a lefty and i think it's great that they put out some good quality left-handed uppers.
didn't they get shut down though??

Fudd? I thought their market was almost entirely competition rifles

What does being a Democrat have to do with shooting left handed?

Are you thinking of sabre?

Stag Arms got raided by the ATF last year for having too many unmarked lowers in their inventory.

Gotta love that big dick government
>making some lowers
>do them in batches
>batches are too big
>one batch hasn't gotten serialized yet
>get raided

I'm a lefty and still prefer to add ambi parts to a right handed AR. There are way more options for parts, and I don't have a problem with brass in the face.
> norgon ambi catch
> axts raptor charging handle
> battle arms development ambidextrous safety selector
I also didn't like the idea that the stag lefty upper had the ejection port cover flip up. It is too easy to engineer a spring with a reverse twist and have it flip down. I mount my optics with the knobs and hardware on the left side of the rifle. Having the ejection port cover flip up causes interference.

also, airshit

Charge too much for some of their parts
Other than that they're good

The owner was forced to quit weapons manufacturing for life.
I've posted my Raifu once or twice. I'm a left handed as well.
I'm only aware of Stag Arms because of a lefty I used to know. My ex's dad, former cop, cool guy. Finally buys the AR he'd been meaning to buy, and hands it to me to check it out. I didn't know until then he was a lefty. Without thinking I pick it up I look at the slabbed right side of the upper and my brain kind of goes blank for a few seconds trying to figure out what's wrong until I realize it's a left handed AR. I'd never held a left handed gun ever.
