Unfortunately these were without the brand manufacturer. Apparently come from the workshop which supplied CZUB in 90's (They have been lying under the counter for long time)

Mag release is fine. When I stripped the gun I took the release apart and wow, they made it out of black magic. I mean seriously, it's weird. Have you cleaned yours? Mine is from '94 so maybe they improved it.

I've tried to clean and polish it but it's still really, really fucking gritty and impossible to actuate for one side. It's the only thing I can't stand about it, even after I bought and replaced the old with new parts. but yeah, weirdest magazine release I've ever seen. I'll need to try again.

What I also like is that they have a "breaching block" kind of texturing on the front end... so you can breach... with a pistol... with a knife sticking off the front. Good stuff guys.
I'd get one for my P-01 just to say I have one, and home defense of course, but I haven't seen one for under a hundred dollars, and that seems like a lot to pay for what is in essence a joke by CZ.

I CC the turk knock-off of a CZ-75 compact. If it's accurate enough to blast jackrabbits with, it should cut it for self-defense. 15+1 and aluminum alloy frame.

CZ75B has a firing pin safety. Pre-b does not. You can also find some short rail CZ75's, but those will always be pre-b. At least that's what I've been led to believe

basically he takes CZ 75 frames, puts in a some trigger work/installs the SA trigger and thats it for the frame
the slides he makes himself in 5" / 6"
basically a 6" slide made 1911 style with a barrel bushing
excellent precision
he also makes a "Viper" with the SP01 frame and a Sport III 22lr 6" slide out of a Kadet bolt

It is very pleasant to shoot. Realistically I think the primary complaints the czechs had were cost. The charging handle reciprocates just like a SCAR does, and an HK416 weighs more. But the upper was designed to be injection molded, not machined. The upper has lots of cuts that make machining expensive.
