My dad used too. not kidding.
I actually would. With carrying a surplus gun like the 1895, getting if taken after using it on someone to protect yourself wouldn't be much of loss. You can easily go get one for a couple hundred bucks.
I need to get one still.
I see them on gunbroker and armslist. yet they are never close enough for me to visually inspect before purchase.
I don't buy old firearms online uness from a reputable seller. All the big names in online gunsales have been out of Hand Nuggets for a while.

They go for upwards of $500 now, not the $99 of 2010.

No. i always dismiss those nightmares where the trigger would be too heavy to pull, but with a hand nugget, it'll be a reality.

treat it as a single action only and that issue goes away.
>>30182380
If i treat is as a single action, i'd rather go and buy a dedicated single action revolver that's not only better, but shoots more common ammo that's easily reloadable.
as a carry piece, hand nuggets are only a good option if you literally cannot save the the money to get a better gun.

Oh no, it goes from 25 pounds to 12 pounds! That really fixes the issue
>Not carrying it
you guys even trying?
>>30182630
If i'm going to carry an obsolete design, i'd rather carry my Navy.
>>30182630
Well it is cool to be able to do this with a revolver
get two or more and carry them like a Slavic cowboy
>>30184416
IIRC they were actually around in the American old west.
>>30181976
I mean I carried an 1851 navy for a month or two stint where I had left my handgun at my moms place for her defense.
>>30182997
this
I want one for the sole purpose of using my 30 cal suppressor on it

If I had to, itd be better than nothing. The only time I ever needed my CC I didn't have to fire a shot, so it'd work fine in that instance. And I could, if need be, fire it quickly enough. But it wouldn't be my first choice.
