The issue is this film praising muh american heroes (and conveniently hiding the fact that they're blackwater goons)

You're a faggot, those are literally the same people.

Do x mission in special ops: muh heros.
The same person doing the same job for the same reasons, often even paid by the same people, but not wearing a uniform: muh villains.

Trump is shitting down the throats of the GOP and Democrats. He's breaking all of the established rules of politics and riding the wave of angry Americans tired of our bullshit system.

Sanders is shitting on the Democrats by defying them and challenging Shillary's supremacy. He might be 90% retard, but at least he's better than Shillary.

By not voting you are allowing the same shit you're complaining about to occur.

13 Hours

The two Delta guys were poorly introduced/written in and confused a lot of people. I've watched that movie a few times now with different groups of people and someone is always confused as to when/how those guys show up.

Aside from that it's got good Michael Bay action at a decent (a little slow in parts) pace.

7/10 casual
>>
>>30179030

it was a good movie, but that aside, it was basically a commercial for magpul.

Good movie. Captures the general non serious attitude the State Dept and CIA had pre attack. They didn't have good security because they were not street smart. The movie put it all on the CIA guy but both him and Ambassador Stevens were at fault for being idiots.

Both of them would not have lasted 2 weeks in Beirut in the 80s.

>>

I don't see how that is inherently a bad thing. For the majority of human history most fighters have been mercenaries. Standing state militaries have historically been fairly rare and the notion that only a state should have a professional military, and an ideologically motivated at one at that, is very recent.
Mercenary and prostitute are probably the two oldest human professions.

It had it's silly moments, but fuck me if this movie didn't get me rock hard. It was fucking great to see in theaters, but it holds up on the small screen as well. I feel like if I'd seen Saving Ryan's Privates when it was in the movies I'd not appreciate it as much now (not that it's not GoAT).

This is correct. I think that, like it or not, we are in the middle of a once-in-a-generation political paradigm shift. If you want things to change, now is the time to get involved, because this election has the potential to define the political realities in america for the next 30 years.
