Does anyone else love looking at HK/USP's but would NEVER want to own one yourself? They're drop dead sexy guns but the price could never be justified in my mind.
Shot my friends HK45 at the range for about 200 rounds and unfortunately it didn't feel like anything special.
In terms of recoil and shooting stability it felt pretty much the same as my Glock 41, just much more chunkier-feeling in my hands than I expected.
In no way am I meaning to bash here, I just wanted to express my feelings about them.

Then don't buy one. I love my USP, its not the cheapest, im more accurate with several other of mine, but the USP is my favorite gun. Also a great gun in general, never had an FTF/FTE with either USP or p2000.

It was a coworkers duty gun and he sold it to me with 5 mags, the UTL, and 2 Safariland duty holsters (one with light and one w/out, the one without is brand new and about a $139 value) for $700.
Controversial statement: I like the proprietary rail because it triggers my assburgers if my gun has a rail and doesn't have a light on it. They make plenty of holsters that fit the light with a rail adapter, I wish companies would make guns with rails like this and include a pic rail adapter with the gun.

I bought a P2000 and have not regretted it at all. I've put about two thousand rounds of shit range ammo through it and it hasn't hung up once. Really easy disassembly, it has a nice safety (not entirely sure what it's called but it disengages the pin when the hammer isn't cocked) and it isn't bad to conceal. I got it on sale though, so the price could have been worse too.

Only real issue with the sig is the horseshit recoil springs they use. They unwind themselves around 5000 rounds pretty consistently. Should be a nice flat spring design instead. I'm sure they have their reasons, though.
