Hey /k/,
I just bought this bayonet, which was described as a "German Last-Ditch Bayonet from WWII", but I have suspicions it may be of the earlier WWI ersatz type.
Could anyone help me ID it? I can't find any markings.
Thanks. More pics to come.

Still has some cosmolene, it seems.

No markings on the blade...

No markings on the crossguard.
Any help at all would be appreciated.
If other pics would help, I'll take them.
If that's German it's the shittiest piece of German craftsmanship I've ever seen. (It's not German).

It's very similar to German bayonets detailed here: http://www.old-smithy.info/bayonets/HTNL%20DOCUMNETS/German%20Ersatz.htm
By your logic, a late-war Volksturm rifle wouldn't be German.
Thanks for the (You), though.

Yeah, I'm convinced that this must be a WWI issue bayonet.
Thanks for the link.

Muzzle ring is too high to be German bayonet; probably Turkish ersatz bayonet.
