Just recently some guy with a valid weapons permit got it revoked unjustly by a court order because he wrote immigrant-critical comments on facebook, which was monitored by government agencies who then found out about his permit. Note that the comments themselves were not in breach of any hate speech "laws" either. It's literally stasi 2.0

I think he was being a bit overly optimistic and naive, but I think his heart was in the right place. I've had muslim friends who openly aired their annoyance and disgust towards radical islamist and terrorists, and dumb backwards shit like burkas. I believe that the majority of Muslims are moderate, or completely non-practicing, the way many Jews and Christians/Catholics are outside of holidays.
It would be like assuming all blacks are niggers just because they look talk with the same obnoxious way. Plenty of blacks hate niggers, but can't be outspoken because of how they would be seen by members of their community and basically be left with no one to turn to.
Anyway, my point was that although there's a definite chance that the muslim hordes will influence German culture to some degree, it doesn't necessarily need to be bad because it could help define what future German culture can consist of. That is, instead of just sausage, beer and suspenders or whatever, instead it could also include strong family togetherness and whatever the fuck it is that middle easterners eat too. More variety doesn't have to be bad, and it doesn't mean you have to be a cuck. Not everyone likes tendies.
It would be bad if Germany became the new shithole Middle East but I have faith that those who are indifferent to the influx or even outright accepting of it, would be against radical changes to their country. There is only so much bullshit that a new population can request before they find equilibrium with the current inhabitants of that land, otherwise America would have turned into Ireland after the potato famine, Asia after the Asian migration, or Mexico after the South Americans came over. Just because the future of Germany may differ from what it is now does not mean that Europeans will lose their past, it will only reflect the changes of historical events.

I took German in university several years ago and both of my teachers were from Germany. The amount of pushing "multicultural germany" they did was horrendous. I had no idea Germany or Germans were like this until I took the class, then I saw how my German textbook was written in a manner that made the writers seem like they were falling over themselves trying to be inclusive, there were turkish names in the exercises, little brown people drawn in all of the stupid textbook drawings. The teachers always tried to describe the diversifying of Germany as such a wonderful thing, though I suspect only one of them actually believed it, the other always seemed a little uneasy when talking about it. I went to Germany on a study abroad soon after and it was even worse there. The universities and guides were painful in their effort to be pro-turk and pro-immigrant. It reminded me of how stockholm syndrome had been described to me.
