Hello /k/, I'll keep it short.
I turn twenty tomorrow and plan on purchasing my first handgun.
After shooting dozens of rentals, I've narrowed the choice down to the following 3: Sig p220, H&K USP 9mm, or H&K USP 9mm Compact.
They are all sweet guns and I plan on carrying the one i buy until I at least get another from the list.

Are you US? Because if you are you're going to have to wait another year hombre. If not, I'd get the P220 if you want a .45, or the USP for a 9mm (or if you want all 9mm recommendations, I'd suggest the Sig P226)

Shit twenty-one, my bad.
And the p220 is honestly my first choice. I plan on getting all 3 but I live in a cucked state that limits me to 1 handgun purchase per 30 days. Imy avoiding the p226 until I move back to a free state because the Cuckifornia compliant model is nerfed to shit.

Get the USP in .45

Then save up for one of these >>30153600

Leave California.

Would definitely recommend the P220 then. I have a P220 Elite Stainless and it is the nicest .45 I've ever shot. On par with, if not slightly better, than my Springfield TRP 1911.

Trying. I was planning on leaving right after graduating university earlier this year but I got a job offer that was too good to refuse. Seeking a transfer to North Carolina or Virginia.
>>30153624
I'm going to get a USP 45 Tactical the moment I leave CA. It's my dream gun but I can't get one here because of the threaded barrel. I'm considering just getting one in Nevada and bringing it back though fuck it.
>>30153657
I guess p220 it is.
>>
>>30153703
>p220 it is
You'll enjoy it. Once you get out of California I'd definitely pick up >>30153600 pic related. I also own a mk25 and it's also my favorite 9mm. Both of them (and most of the other P22X series I've shot) are super accurate and soft shooting.
>>
get none of those, instead buy either a Beretta 92 or Hi Power and your choice of LC9s Pro, Makarov, or M&P sheild.

>I'm considering just getting one in Nevada and bringing it back though fuck it.
felony for both CA and the feds.
>>
>>30153551
If you go USP then get the compact. The type of buffer in the fullsize isn't needed in a 9mm. The USPc is great all around gun thats easy to shoot, and can accept the P30 mags if you ever decide to do that.
>>
>>30153726
>Don't get any of the guns you want, get two mediocre ones instead just because it'll cost the same

What a stupid suggestion.
>>
>>30153551
P220 is the most comfortable and fun pistol I have ever had the pleasure to shoot. West German naturally.
>>
>>30153551
>H&K USP 9mm, or H&K USP 9mm Compact.
If you are not getting a USp in .45 don't bother.
>>
USP9c is a hell of a gun.

Like I said I plan on getting a USP Tactical 45 after leaving enemy territory.
>>30153724
Man the mk25 is my second favorite handgun and it kills me that I can't get it sooner.
>>
>>30153748
Only if he gets caught.
>>
>>30153600
I have also heard that California compliant Sigs are not gud.

I own a Mk25 and love it, but stick to your HK choices while you're in Commiefornia
>>
I had a p220 st I carried for about 3 years I got tired of the weight and traded it for a hk usp .45. I intended on buying a police trade in p220 with the light weight alloy frame but after having the usp for a year I decoded against it and sold all the p220 extras I had. I just prefer the weight, capacity, feel and sight picture of the hk so much more. If the usp .45 tac is really your dream gun just get a usp and throw on the extras later or find a way to get it.

That's my opinion at least
>>
>>30155915
Also they have cali friendly 10 round mags so you'll have more rounds them the regular p220 mags. 10 rnd p220 mags are fuck huge and a pain to carry even as a back up mag
>>
>>30153551
never buy a sig. jesus christ man.

if you buy an HK get it in .45, jesus christ bro.

just buy a glock 19 though. really
