Also I gots good ole American 45 acp, but Idk if 13 rounds would put down a bear if I'm out and about in the treeline...what's a strong enough caliber? Is there even one for semi auto pistols; am I limited to revolver rounds?

Well, .380 ACP was designed in 1908 By John M. Browning to cycle safely and reliably in Colt's new 1908 Pocket Hammerless, and it's better than .32 ACP.
.40 S&W came along because the FBI asked for it after they switched to 10mm Auto and it turned out to be a shitshow.
.45 GAP happened because Glock wanted a round that was equivalent to .45 ACP but had a stronger case because Glock was concerned with case necks blowing out in their pistols.
.357 Sig happened because Sig wanted a rimless round for autoloaders that could share a frame with 9mm and .40 amd a magazine with .40, but would have comparable power to .357 Magnum.

You've never heard of .32 ACP? It's one of the most prolific calibers of the 20th Century. The Walther PP used it, the Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless used it, the FN 1900 used it, the Savage 1907. If you have any interest in historical firearms, it should eventually come up.

Also The weight for me is routine for me as I used it in my Duty Holster most of the time so I am extremely used to it. If I am going LEOSA carry I will switch firearms to something a bit smaller and leave the light off. I

I also have the a TLR 2-HL G on the front of it as seen in >>30150170. The difference between having the light off and on with Hot Loads only shows up minimally and I have a little drift up when the light is off. On my Colt Delta Elite with 180/200/220 Gr HOT loads I feel no difference. I feel less rise with 135-175 gr loads though.

If you spend the money you can get a fully supported barrel, Heavy recoil spring, potentially heavier mag springs. And run .45 super 230 grain that goes about 1100+fps.
It's the same dimensions as .45 auto but the fully supported barrel is just to decrease your KB chance since glocks are not fully supported.
Also 13rd of .45 +p fmj or hardcast should do in a grizzlie. Just don't run to much hard cast in a glock.
Personally I got an extended threaded barrel for some extra push and a suppressor someday.
