The movie has been created in partnership by the 28 Panfilov’s men studio and Gaijin Entertainment, the video game developer that created the famous MMO - “War Thunder”.
Looks pretty good for some Russian indy studio and a video game company.

In truth, I do have a great deal of respect for a lot of the Soviet footsloggers, who fought for years in shit conditions often against better trained/equipped (at least initially) enemies in attacks where their commanders often gave no shits about how many would live or die. Mid tier Russian props have godly power to weight ratios and the Yak-3 can climb to space in no time. Russians really don't excel at one thing except acceleration, which appeals to some and turns off others.

GB has the Churchill fairly early game, which is OP as fuck and can charge anything short of a Dick.
Germany has the Marder III and the Dick fairly early, both of which are very OP for their ranks.
The Tiger I, II and Maus are all introduced at lower ranks than their contemporaries.
US has great tank destroyers early-mid game (M10/M18) and arguably the best heavy tank of the game (based on manoeuvrability, reload times, protection and speed) the M6.
Russia has okay early game, with the BT-5/7 and T-50, but it's not competitive at any other rank.
All their heavy tanks short of Rank VI have shitty armour, horrendous reload speeds, terrible manoeuvrability and meh guns.
The T-34 is introduced way too late in the game to be competitive, as it gets one shotted by just about everything else in its ranks.
Only OP Russian vehicles are the BT series early on and the ZIS-30 as it's highly mobile and can one shot everything up to rank V with a good player.
