TFW guns fill the void less and less

A new Fun always seems to reset the cycle for me. That or a cleaning orgy with my /k/ommando buddy.
>>
>>30123021
I know that feel.

A few days ago I met some of my old high school friends. We're all 24-25yo now. They are finishing college, having serious relationships and getting married, thinking about buying houses, have really good jobs etc.
Meanwhile I am a kissless virgin, have 4 years left 'till my master's degree in a field that doesn't interest me, am poor as fuck etc.

Well at least I have a dozen guns. Right? They'll keep me warm on cold nights, right? Because the guns feel less and less fun every year.
>>
>>30123078

I'm the same I'm basically 5 years behind my peers and a virgin too.

hey friendo I assume that you are american
>be poor as fuck
>own 12 guns (and their ammo, and mags ands reloading and accessories and shit)
>pick one

so sell one of your AR (i know ou got at least 3) for 3 time the price your payed for to an ignorant rich fudd/nigger/gun newbie so you transformed a 650$ investment on a 1000+$.
Then
>1 GO BANG AN ESCORT, Ask her to teach you how to pond a shag.
(if you can't find a decent pussy on craiglist/tinder for 500$ I can't help you )

>2go buy yourself a gym card or a rowing machine and train the fuck out.

>3 wait: in less than 4 yrs half of your firznd will be divorced, ruined and paying child support for kids they can't even see more than 2 week end a month.

Pay in mind that I did exactly what I said but in Europa and with a crippled leg from a matorbike accident.

>Be 24 single skelleton and in a wheelchair after crashing my bike, all friends are employed, successful and engaged

Sold Breton gaucher expensive SxS

>Be 27 ripped up PHD dandy with a walking stick and confidence. MY friend are either divorced or living a boring life.
>>
>>30123171
I am actually from Yurop.

I've got 14k in my guns but I don't want to sell any because getting new ones would be a pain. Also no ARs, only AKs.
I make less than 1000 a month because as a university student I have no real job and most of my money I make by smuggling cheap cigarettes and booze from another country.

I don't think I'd feel comfortable banging an escort.

The problem is that I'm 5-10 years behind my peers in everything and fixing most of the things isn't possible anymore. In 4 years I will have a master's degree in a field that I hate and has relatively poor job opportunitied, and will probably end up as a bar tender or a cash register operator in a small shop.
I have never taken a drop of alcohol but I'm pretty sure I'll start drinking soon.

Is that real potassium nitrate?
>>
>>30123375
I've never recommended this to anyone because it's extremely impractical, but if it's bothering you that much maybe you actually should move to the United States? Where do you live anyway? It sounds UK/Japan tier.

It's not that I'm comparing myself to them. It's just that seeing them made me realize what a fucking loser I am.
Then again a boring asshole like me hardly deserves love or a real job so I suppose life is playing out as it should.

>>
>>30123569
Felon detected.
>>
>>30123632
Real charcoal and sulfur too.

Potassium Nitrate is the main ingredient in black powder. depending on your recipe it can consist of anywhere between 75 and 90 percent of the mix.

Getting your ingredients into a real fine powder can be a pain in the ass without a ball mill, but it's doable with a bit of antler i had from last hunting season.

You'll need a binder, i use 90% isopropyl alcohol, but water works too. mix your ingredients with a mortar and pestle (the antler and butter tub) until you have a mix sorta like bread dough. the reason i use alcohol is because it dries the fastest. but you gotta ring out all your moisture.

Once you have a cake, the powder is "green" at this point. green powder is alright, but you'll need to use more of it than you normally would.

if you have a half ton press on you, you'll want to corn your powder. corning is the act of compressing your cake. you'll want to moisten it a little for this part to dissolve any left over sulfur and nitrate that hasn't bonded to the charcoal. then press it.

once you got a fully bonded mix, use the sift to make a grain size of your preference. for pistols and rifles .50 caliber and under, i prefer 3f size.

This is all perfectly legal by the way. at least in the United States.

I don't really have it that bad, to be honest. The only slight complaints I have are:

>Only one of my friends to join the military, so now they're all in Masters programs and making money at their new jobs while I'm just getting started
I still live with a few while I'm attending college though, so it's not so bad.
>Either I'm not as smart as I thought I was or Da Muhreens made me retarded
I'm majoring in Physics. The first year and a half went pretty smoothly but now I'm getting fistfucked. This summer I have to retake my first class in order to fulfill a prerequisite for one I'm taking this fall. Sucks man.
>Military reserve money is drying up and my GI Bill cash barely covers my bills
Haven't bought any cool guns in a while. I still find time to make it to the range, but I have to scrape together ammo like a fucking hobo begging on the street. At this point I'm not sure I could even manage a job along with school. It consumes most of my time during semesters. I'll find a way to make do, though.
>Thought I'd get a qt gf in college, being a vet and all
Fuck no. None of these bitches want anything to do with me. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not 10/10 Ryan Gosling looking, but I'm not ugly. I had no problem in High School or while in the Military. I just think that none of these girls want to leave their comfort zones or something. I don't really have any connections to any of them seeing as all my friends are long gone. And I feel weird as fuck just wandering into random parties where I don't know anybody.

That's good, that's the biggest obstacle people face when overcoming their own flaws.

>so I suppose life is playing out as it should.
If you want to change you need to rid yourself of this mentality, you need to believe that you can achieve the life you want. Maybe you can go to the gym, get into a sport or something, anything that will let you build a certain skill. A team sport would be good because it would give you a way to meet new people.

>>30123740
My first batch of powder i bought the ingredients locally. You can find potassium nitrate in the garden section of stores like walmart or home depot. but you may need to search for plain nitrate. it's common enough in things like stump removers.

Sulfur i got from a pharmacy.

My first batch was pretty awful. more smoke than anything usable. But that's when i learned about hobby chemist websites. you can get some of the purest shit off of them. pretty cheap too.
>>
>>30123750
I have some skills and I am pretty fit. I teach unarmed self-defense and knife shit.

The real reason why I am so reluctant to change anything is because that would put me way outside my comfort zone. Like asking a girl out. Fuck that, rather stick nails in my eyes. Funny thing is, I can talk to girls about mundane stuff just fine. Now with job prospects it's a different story. Quitting the uni would be kind of dumb but I am not interested in the field and have no desire to work in it. I just applied to some random uni couple of years ago and here I am.

Btw. How should I start drinking? I have never tried alcohol but I guess it could help. I have a bittle of 160-proof but I suppose that is a bit much? I just want a way to numb my mind so I don't care about the taste. Pro tips?

Free.
You only pay for doctor appointments ($41) and for the operations etc. you only pay for bandages and painkillers used during the operation.

After paying $240 on medical expenses in under a year, you automatically will get a "free pass" which..well..makes everything health related completely free.
>>
>>30123858
This. It's shit. You feel good for the first few drinks. The only benefit is here, where your inhibitions are lowered in a slightly positive way. Soon, you fall into a trap and you're at drink 7, 8, 9, +. The hangover the next day sucks and you realize you gained nothing from it. Have 3 drinks max as social lube and stay away from that shit. I've never seen good things from someone who made a habit out of alcohol, myself included.

Oh and how the standards are of course pretty good.
All hospitals are modern and top-notch, but the wait-list to get certain operations takes way to fucking long. All from a couple of weeks to years.

I was so fucking jelly when I was younger, for he travelled to Mallorca, France, Italy two to three times a year, all covered by the state.

Belgian here, feel like I can weigh in since I visited a doctor yesterday.

Just walked into (no appointment) my GP's office at 8 am, consultation at 8:30, was out of the door at 8:50.
Total cost was 55 euros (60 dollars), 25 for the consultation and 30 annual medical records fee. (the 30€ fee is completely reimbursed by the national health insurance as is 20€ of the consultation fee)
For my antidepressants I payed 7.21€ (national health insurance pays the remaining 19.28€)
So in total I spend about 12€/13$ for 3 months of antidepressants.

But like >>30123947 said, waiting times for non-essential surgery can long, and I pay more than enough taxes for all of this.

Don't worry bud, I know that feel.
Kind of related, does anybody know why doing "bad things" seems so attractive? For me its substances, I know smoking is really bad for you, and it makes you stink like cigarettes, but it just seems so alluring. Cocaine also, the thought of doing a big line for some reason gets me really hot, even though I would never do that trash. Why are we as humans attracted to things we know are bad for us?

>Why are we as humans attracted to things we know are bad for us?

On a deep level your consciousness is trying to tell you that life is comprised of suffering and pain sparsely punctuated by brief highs of respite. It's the Call of the Void, mayne
>>
>>30124430
You, and everyone who identifies with you, is probably JUST an addict. Not a drug addict, mind you, but just an addict. We're obsessive and compulsive by nature. Don't be fooled, healthy minded people are not drawn to the things that you are drawn to.

I love you, and we both love guns, and to tell you the truth would probably equally love PCP mixed with guns if we could do so safely. While skydiving. It's not the void, it's that we're addicts. Welcome to spending your money on guns for the rest of your life, friend.
>>
>>30124430

Are you generally successful in life? Do you have a rewarding career, a fulfilling relationship, are you financially secure?

If not, you might be attracted to those things because they provide an endorphin rush that is missing from your life otherwise. The reason "healthy" people are not drawn to those things, as >>30124525 says, is because they get a charge out of achieving things in their careers, marriages, by being a parent, reaching a milestone like paying off their house, etc.
>>
>>30123021

I know that feel. Graduate school lets me act like I'm doing something with my life but really I'm not particularly interested in the field and it's just something to do. Honestly I think I would prefer a decent paying simple blue collar job but I would have no idea how to go about getting something like that and there would always be people better qualified than me for those kinds of positions. The only thing I've ever been good at was school so I feel like I have to rely on degrees to get anywhere.

I guess it's better than being a neet, but I just wish I had something to look forward to in my life. An interesting career, a girlfriend, a home and family, something. Videogames, guns, and cartoon horses are good distractions but they can only go so far.

Debt being the big one shared among them. Except for a guy I'll call Nick. Nick is happy as fuck. Guy works as a Deli manager. Spends his money wisely and has a nice girl by his side. No one treats him any differently than a college grad because he doesn't go around acting depressed. They might behind his back but the fuck does he care about that for?

No I'm not nick. I'm a college dropout who joined the military because I figured the only thing I really like doing is shooting shit and working out so why the fuck not?

I wish everyone in the world would realize that guns are great and everyone had a gun

I want NFA and the hughes amendment gone

I want Charlie Rangel impeached for passing the hughes amendment illegally

I want to be in a world other than this place, be it furry, anime, or pony

It's like you've stolen my own inner dialogue. I feel your pain bro.

Good luck and godspeed to you anon.

You may not like it at first, but when you drink and are offered one, don't take it. Because alcohol will make you enjoy it like none other, and soon you're smoking too much, but quitting makes you feel like being an asshole to your friends. Don't touch the damned things again.
t. kommando that kicked a 2 pack a day habit... shit, 2 years ago now

Nigger, I just turned 32 and didn't have a "real job" until the beginning of last year. You have more time to waste and figure shit out now than in anon's father's time. You can totally shit away your twenties and still pull it all together, I just don't recommend doing it intentionally.

This is a fear of mine. That I'll end up entirely average and bored, That I'll die quietly and forgotten. I feel that I've got to do something truly adventurous and dangerous with my life to have lived fully.

>Go to range to sight in rifle that I haven't shot in over 10 years
>Fire a few shots
>Down and to the left
>Adjust scope a few clicks
>Further down and to the left
>Adjust in opposite direction
>Further down and to the left
>Rage slightly and adjust many clicks
>Same spot as before
>Die inside a bit
>See scope mount screw has come loose

I don't know why it took me so long to think to check that.

I live in Australia and I'd love to do this (for much more than just 2A) but outside of the Greencard lottery I think its quite difficult without American family. I'm an electrician with a fair few quals here, but how would I convince an American company to take a chance sponsoring me in? No small feat.

1.) Tinder for women and hookup (met my GF of two years on tinder not even joking)

You just need to man up and do it no matter how nervous you are or how awkward you feel (because its always way worse in your own delusional head)

2.) Make money buying and reselling firearms and ammunition, eventually get a physical store and an FFL

Or learn a trade and get appreticeship and start making really good money, get a company vehicle, eventually afford an apartment or small home if you have a partner.

I work as HVAC tech and resell on side (in process of getting FFL) and make a very comfortable living

3.) If you are actually depressed or have major problems with anxiety go see a psychiatrist/psychologist/doctor. Get on medicines. They help A LOT. I used to be really anti med until I tried them for a few weeks because I had nothing left to lose.

I used to be a awkward depressed suicidal mess and got on Wellbutrin and buspar and that fixed me pretty fucking quick along with forcing myself to be social.

4.) If you want excitement and guns go join a local LE Agency (easy for local or county police even with only HS diploma) or join the military in a combat position.
