I'm hoping someone can help me.
I'm trying to find a fore grip, but typing it into google isn't getting me any results. It's basically a rubberized orb made for your palm to grip on. Onion/sphere/ball/round foregrip isn't getting me any results.
I thought it was more common, but now I'm thinking it was a proprietary grip on an smg? Can anyone give me a hand?
Pic very roughly related.

Duct tape a tennis ball to your rifle, problem solved.
What you're thinking of it actually a pretty common practice but not something purchased.
You taxidermy the nutsack of the first man you kill and mount it as your rifle ballgrip.

Just remember Fab Defense/Mako is the Tapco of the rest of the world.
OP didn't go potato enough.

>literally called "Potato Shaped Foregrip"
I think it's more scrotum-shaped if we're being real here.

nope
>>30121269
probably the closest thing so far, but that isn't saying much.
I want to say I saw it on an smg. About the size of a vidalia onion, rubberized, could be used as a hand stop or monopod, otherwise in the palm as a foregrip.
are you talking about those weird spherical grips that a lot of old competition rifles had?
>>30121342
Perhaps, can you link one?
>>30121345
trying to find a pic

I laughed when I clicked that image. Not because it wouldn't be useful or any good, but because my ar would look like a Supersoaker.
>>30121349
I can't find one
lmfao
>>30121375
Now you see my dilemma. I can swear seeing them, basically a squished onion that comes up to a 1/4" spindle, but for some reason I can't seem to find it at all.
I feel like I"m crazy and imagining things, even though I know exactly what I'm envisioning...
Slight bump, it was basically a rubberized orb the size and shape of a smaller vidalia onion. Just plain odd that I can't find anything on it...
>>30121261
I've seen them on hand tools, not on firearms though.
>>30123644
Yeah, I remember seeing one on a cordless drill a while back.
Is it this? The Lettet-Forsogs copy of the Soumi? It turns out they thought it was a bit shit and got rid of it.
>>30123955
The idea is kind of there, but more of a picatinny attachment that would look more ovoid than spherical.
>>30124871
Are you talking about this? Because these are basically what >>30121342 said. And they serve the same purpose.
>>30125049
I want to say that I saw it on an AR, but since google isn't turning up anything, maybe it was a late cold war smg that was never adopted for full production?
Just a rubberized nub foregrip, I'm surpised that there's nothing similar at midway or brownell's.
i vaguely remeber something like OP describes. like a stress ball you could squeeze to make taller or flatten if needed.
Now i want to know what it is
Bump
OP here, something like this.

I clicked on this thread knowing it would be the first post
>>30125313
I've seen a DIY repro of an experimental one in an /akg/ a while back

you have a picture?
