Picked this up this morning. Went to shoot it, it's fucking awesome. I expected it would shoot kinda like my Arsenal SLR-106FR, but it's different. It's way more "mechanical" feeling, the way the bolt makes a way more solid "kerchunk"... I can't describe it. Definitely feels more AK like than AR like. But I love this thing. Anyone other /k/omrads on here with the 556?

I wouldn't pay what they go for but it they were cheaper I'd definitely pick one up.

Honestly, this this is way more enjoyable to shoot than my Tavor. I heard mixed things about the trigger, but I actually thought the trigger is pretty decent in this rifle. Stoked the previous owner put the rail on it. How much would /k/ pay for one of these (gen 1 used)?

I think Wednesday is good, I don't have any jobs booked yet for that day. I traded my M1A Socom II . Now, before you call me a fucking retard, this wasn't any SOCOM, it was one that as much as I loved it, had been thrown together with mixed up BS parts, (TRW trigger, old shitty GI stock, missing original synthetic stock and top rail) and it had various issues with FTF, FTE among other things. It really wasn't the kind of M1A I would sink money into. I'll find another one later, maybe a Scout Squad. Pic related.

It's heavy as fuck. I was surprised how heavy it is. Maybe as heavy as my WASR with all that mall ninja shit on it. I only spent 30 min with it but me and the wife were hitting bottles and shit about 30-40yrds out just fucking around getting used to the irons and seeing how it cycled. I'm unsure if a commercial or mil-spec AR stock will fit on the existing buffer tube, it may need to be swapped. I'll try throwing my CTR on it and see what happens.
