This beauty is a Colombian 9mm pistol.

Do you think I dislike reaching up for the safety? It's because the frame, where your thumb is, is the only place that makes sense for a safety to be. Having even the chance that you could accidentally activate the safety while racking the slide, a common action with automatic pistols, is not a good thing to build into your pistol. It's just the lazy way of engineering a safety into the thing.

Not being incompetent with firearms is also better than shooting yourself in the leg. I'm not saying safeties shouldn't be on guns, I just think slide safeties are an awful thing.
