/pol/ has an undue influence on this board. That's why we need the Pink Pistols and even the really weird shit like traps and furries, to keep the /pol/ contingent in check. If a board is already right-leaning (in our case hopefully just for gun rights) and doesn't have a strong culture, /pol/ will try to take over.

OP, I live about an hour outside of Pittsburgh. If you can get a chapter going, I'd be interested in joining. Western PA is pretty gun friendly. Westmoreland county has the highest rate of ccw license holders in the state. Allegheny is kinda urban and shit, but still pretty nice. Be sure to get on the 20 yr waiting list for Allegheny gun club, too.

I'll tell you a little story about two villages, one called kay and the other called Pol. Kay was full of people who loved to talk and shoot guns and Pol was full of people who loved to shit in their bathtubs and roll around in it all day.
Sometimes, people from Pol would go into Kay and try to join in the conversations. But the people from Kay would smell the shit clinging to the filthy Pol-ites' diseased bodies and would reject them. I am a Pink Pistol in California, in one of the places we can actually get carry licenses. It is glorious. I go to the gay bars wearing my Pink Pistols shirt and get all kinds of questions from curious people. They like us at the range, too.
