Swissarms is a weapon manufacturer located in Neuhausen in Switzerland and is the one reponsible for the production of the real SIG 550.
The SIGs from Germany aren't the same and I will not even talk about the ones from the US...

Not /k/ in the operator or guns sense, but the Gundam UC continuity has had some great stuff if you like war stories and mech fights.
The original Mobile Suit Gundam remains one of my favorite series, of any genre or medium, ever.
