Barrels are easy to get. Soon to have a real aftermarket, not just HDD vaporware
BCGs, not as much, but still out there. But SCAR bolts are not as flimsy as AR bolts. Good luck breaking the bolt carrier.

Battlefield LV seems to think these are the most reliable guns out there. Says a lot tbqh considering it's a codfag gun that is used constantly and it's being compared to AKs and ARs that he has in excess of 100k on. High praise to not see any bolt failures in the SCAR family.

So related to that picture. First time I got drunk I think I was 14-15 and it was with a few friends camping out in Finland close to a small, still lake. The 20" barrel is because I absolutely despise how noisy the 16" varieties can get. It's not like I jump out of vehicles with a rifle for a living anyway.
Farthest I would ever shoot at a hog or _maybe_ a mule deer is within 300yards. 6x would be plenty, and I could still use the 1x if I want to completely waste .308 bullets fucking around on a tactical range.
Still, you're probably right, and I'll get that itch to try and shoot out to 500 yards some day. Maybe I'll look into 2-10x instead. It's not like FN is in any rush.
