I owned a Norinco 84s and it was a fine rifle.
Heavy, but well made.
Dont let anyone talk shit about the chinese made aks and sks rifles.
They were made to higher standards than the military stuff at the times because they were intended for commercial markets.
A buddy of mine just got a Mak-90 UF that was sitting on the boat when the bans passed. Strangely it also had a 74 style brake. He has since gotten himself a Norinco slant brake that makes everything right.
