Opening day of duck season. I don't normally go into the wetlands on opening day because of all the protestors and media popping up just when you are taking a shot on the wing but I went last year with out my shotty.
Hanging arround with the tree huggers, listening, watching, making notes.
Arround lunch I bring out a picknic basket and pass around sandwiches.
I received much praise for the taste and one chick with an anti gun t shirt asked me how I cooked the chicken.
I said.
It's duck.
The last of the ducks I shot last year on this very spot.
