Post everything about them Doggo battle buddies. I'll start with my goofy pupper. His name is Sven
>>30069101
He's a German Wirehaired Pointer, and he loves food, chasing birds, and barking at people he doesn't know.

Never heard of that, interesting. Are they good dogs? Doesn't look like he sheds or if he does must be minimal? I'm looking into getting a dog soon. Preferably one that isn't too messy.
Most cute pupper itt?
>>30069316
They're fantastic dogs, light shedding year round, meaning you'll still have hair on fucking everything it'll just be a couple hairs. If you like the look of a bearded dog who could also probably be put to work it's a good dog for you.
Batshit crazy pupper. Was abused before we got him, maybe hit by a car as well.

>If you like the look of a bearded dog who could also probably be put to work it's a good dog for you.
The light shedding you described doesn't sound too bad. I was checking out the Giant Schnauzer, they have that beard too. Are they expensive to maintain? a medium sized dog like you have? I'm waiting on getting a dog until I grad and have a career and set schedule so I can spend time with it/train

my rage
rising
how could someone abuse such a cute pupper
>>30069375
oh forgot to mention they're a bit difficult to train.
Zero maintenance, essentially. Never have had the dog professionally groomed, visit the vet about 1/year, and have never seen the need to do any sort of professional grooming. hardest thing is the exercise requirement, because Sven will run for DAYS before he stops

Cool, thanks for the info, anon. They seem like cool dogs.

Yeah, I would like to have a 'word' with those people if I could find them. Took him ~6 months to trust me, and I'm the only male he trusts. That was after he panicked while playing around and lunged/bit me in the neck on three separate occasions before he realized I wasn't going to hurt him. Just trying to give him a good life, not going to bother with proper dog training at this point.

most recent pic of have is of dog trying to maul an opossum.

I've always called these pointy collies
>>30069492
That's literally all he does. It's not 'taking him for a walk', it's "wandering around in the neighbors' yards, smelling everything then dribbling some pee on it". Kind of entertaining in some ways.

Dribbling pee is what we do anon

My doggo with my ex.
I should probably get a better picture.
Anyway, he's 11 now but thinks he's still 1. Rescue dog that was abandoned on the side of the freeway. I have never had or met a dog with more love in his heart than my dogbro.
Also he's the greatest wingman a man could ask for.
>>30069459
they really are. full of love for their "pack" but aloof with strangers. The hardest thing with him is trying to protect my face when I get home... the licks are strong!
>>30069101
Athena. 92 lbs Bull Mastiff. Real bitch to everyone but me. I don't think she would bite, unless I don't like you. Got in an argument with my buddy and she started going for him. Great dog, even if she eats anything she can lock her lips around.

Have a collie that does the same thing.

kek sounds awful, anon.

Nice Mastiff. What does it cost to feed a dog that size? Whats a meal for her? Neighborhood children?
>>30070475
kek, not to bad to feed her. 2 cups dry food morning and night. 50 lb bag lasts about two weeks. So what, I think it's 50 a month? She actually loves kids, even though she's bigger than most of them.
>>30069870
I had a room mate who had a bullmastiff. he left it in a kennel all day while he was at school and the only time it went outside was on a leash attached to the porch to poo. it never got to walk around or anything. it wasn't fixed so he went a bit nuts being inside all the time. I could tell the dog wasn't socially properly and was acting weird. Anyways, I watched him for a week over Xmas and walked him every day and never put him in the kennel. that dog loved me after that. Everytime roomie would come home the dog would try to knock my door down to come in my room. I felt so bad for that dog.

Jesus.....you absolutely HAVE to socialize a bull mastiff properly. Otherwise you risk them turning aggressive to friends and family. They can deal with minimal exercise but they need to be able to walk around the house. They were bred as guard dogs and have the instincts to match. Keeping them penned up will keep them from doing their job (as they see it) of keeping the house and owner safe.
>you said your dog was a bitch
yeah, mine is a rescue. Worst she's done is bark at people for attention, I'm talking about them being worse if they don't get any socialization.

I love that ears-up focused look they get hunting bugs.
1 of 2 Pupper coming home from vet. He got cut by something along the side of his neck and it got infected, also had some dental issues and had to have some teeth removed, but he's all good now.
