I am in SE QLD so not keen on travelling down to Mexico, cant bring a bunch of my rifles through NSW either, so would have to go QLD- NT- SA - Vic or fly and that isnt a cheap proposition.
I am thinking about doing something on my property in Qld, its not super large but can legally and safely be shot on.
Issues I can see so far though are:

Wtf are you high? GM has been providing Holden with car designs for years, the first Aussie designed Commodore was the VE model, all previous generation Commodores were of Opal design, before 2006 the last Aussie Holden was the old Statesman and Kingswood/Premier.
Most everything else Holden is either an American or Asian GM car rebranded.

I called the cops today to double check my interpretation of the law in Qld was correct, unlicensed people (other then minors for training and agents of primary producers (which I am not)) cannot use firearms on private property. So whilst I am ok with +1s they wont be using firearms if they aren't licensed, I know plenty of people aren't actually aware its technically illegal and do it all the time, but I won't have that happen on my property when there is so much potential for attention from the constabulary to be had.
I am thinking given the dimensions of my property and layout shotguns and air rifles would likely be the best bet, whilst I am happy to use .22s on my property and centerfire rifles the layout for doing it safely becomes more difficult if there might be people milling around. (depends how many people come of course, two or three wouldn't be an issue but if theres a half dozen or more then there could be a problem)
Would have a BBQ as well and a nice big fire. Maybe do a lamb on a spit.
Has to get approved by the fiancee as well.
