I rented a cz. It grouped well but the slide sitting down in the frame made it harder to grab to rack quickly; more prone to hand slipping. The grip and trigger also felt like shit but I did get good groups with it.
Sig is a nicer feeling and shooting gun and gives even better groups.
While I don't like CZ I'm not going to sit here and bash it out of some inferiority complex. If that's all you can afford then enjoy it.

Bullshit. Sigs are nothing if not classy and operator.
>>
>>30064257
All that armchair warriors and noguns have to go on is technical specs and anecdotal stuff they find online.
People who actually own and shoot the guns get to add how they feel, how personally accurate they are and just whether or not the gun works for them.
To someone who has never shot a Sig, I imagine it must seem ridiculous for a gun that by the numbers is not any better and yet people are willing to pay more than twice as much for. It's marketing for wannabe suckers is all they can come up with.
To those of us that have spent time with the guns, we know the difference. They do not.
>>
>>30064431
Then you have people who fall for the marketing for wannabe suckers and feel like they have to justify their purchase to other people on the Internet. When confronted by other people who have experience with Sigs and opted for other guns they then claim that since those people didn't buy a Sig their opinions are meaningless, essentially arguing that only Sig owners (thus fans) are allowed to talk about Sigs.
>>
>>30064650
Not really, no.

Sigfags I have 2 questions about p226/p229/etc:

1. Does the bulge on the left side of the gun (where the decocker mechanism is located) bother you in terms of gripping the gun?

2. Does the P229 (compact) have a better balance and overall handling of the gun compared to the p226 (fullsize) ?

>>
>>30066590
I've seen people walk into gun shops with them and before they can get "I'd like to trade this XD in on something" out of their mouth the employees will say "Not interested." At least one I know of quit selling everything but the single stacks.

HS2000 was a good budget gun. Springfield marketing and branding costs, along with some Jew accessories, put it at a price point where it doesn't compete well.
>>
Just an FYI, the Legion P226 SAO cannot be used in IDPA. Found that sad fact out the other day. It's a hair wider than regulations allow.
>>
>>30066590

>>
>>30066269
1. No. I'm left handed and it's great, I have the g10 grips though and they're great.

2. No, I got the 229 for some reason but if anything I prefer the feel of the 226. However, they aren't particularly dissimilar.
>>
>>30064257
Anyone that's impressed by how accurate a service grade pistol is, generally isn't a good enough shot to notice the difference in mechanical accuracy. They may shoot a given gum better than another, but accuracy between most of you common pistols may as well be identical.

May as well say "it shot all 28 rounds I fed it flawlessly"

>cztard uses anime as a reason why he thinks a gun is good

Everytime. It's as if they're completely incapable of formulating a reason as to why cz is good aside from "czechnology"
>>
>>30065211
I gotta say the legion,as gay as the name is, is probably one of the only sigs legitimately worth the price. The fact that the Mk25 is a special version and not the base gun by now is retarded. I know some of sigscost is justified in material costs and machining but for what they've been putting out they can fuck off. Granted that applies to more companies than sig.
>>
>>30063740
Aside from the slide I disagree with every other comparison.
I thought the only place a stock sig beat the cz was looks, weight and maybe trigger pull, I've found sig triggers aren't very consistent from one gun to the next.
>>
Sig's are literally meme tier overpriced guns.

>>
>>30068897
It's the short extractor that's the worst.
But honestly, you'd think that a major company like Sig would be able to work out their extractors to be at least Taurus quality- but no, the only Sig I've shot that extracted rel;ably was the cheapshit SP2022
which is actually a decent gun and my favorite Sig, upon further reflection

Switched to Glock 19, plus most of them personally prefer .45's.
Try harder.
>>
>>30068882
Can't comment on stock 229, I have the legion and a 320. I have about the cz though as well as the 226 legion and elite. I got fine groupings from the cz, the trigger just felt kind of squishy without any kind of good feedback. The break was light though which is really nice. Well that was my experience anyway. I'd totally carry a cz with confidence of that's what I had.

>>30068894
Nah, there's no accounting for taste and if all you have are stats, then there is no reason to get anything other than a Glock or m&p.

>>30068897
The extractor is fine but the gun is less forgiving when it comes to limp wristing, I'll give you that.
>>
>>30068926
>>30068942
Came in this thread looking for these, and seriously.
Is the SP2022 not THE best product Sig has put out? Zero problems with it, love the fucking thing.
>>
>>30068982
The navy seals website has a picture of them with a p226.

Well that's strange innit?
>>
>>30068982
If you want a dirt simple gun to abuse, get a Glock.
If you're going to spend my tax money, I'd have preferred you got an m&p.
If you want the gun equivalent to a Lexus, get a Sig.
>but civics are just as good a car. Lexus is overpriced, prove me wrong!
I won't. A civic is reliable transportation and if you don't appreciate the difference them you should buy the civic.
>>
>>30069013
The only people who buy 2022's are the people too poor to buy 226's
>>
>>30068982
I like the Glock 19, it's pretty good. Feels good to me, too, cause I have weird hands and can deal with the weird grip angle.

>>
>>30066269
1. I actually like the bulge on the side of the gun. It gives you a shelf for your thumb on your shooting hand (if you're right handed) and keeps you from depressing the slide stop on accident

2. Both handle well but the longer sight radius and weight makes the 226 a better range gun. Get the 229 if you're gonna carry one
>>
>>30069054
I'm fucking with you.

Both guns are excellent as I'm sure you know. I have both and shoot my 226 more only because it has a better trigger and looks cooler.

The whole "Seals switched to Glock 19" thing is still only a rumor though.. Just sayin

Perfect, they have the da/sa trigger P2000 model with rear mounted decocker, iirc that's what it was, very nice shooting gun. I owned an early P2000 myself with LEM trigger, even though that trigger was junk, the gun was s still as accurate as any I've ever owned including my sigs. hk have the best barrels too, period. Only reason I switched to sigs, 229 legion in particular is because I wanted a metal frame as an "heirloom" gun... That and I shoot it extremely well.
