For shotguns, it's not all that hard to make your own ammo from scratch. A lot of shotgun shells use to be made of cardboard n' shit and most of today's round are mostly made of plastic. It probably wouldn't be too hard to make your own.

nopics because you should know what a mosin looks like
>>
>>30055690
You'd still have to make the base, which would be a bit trickier.

>>30055705
With sufficient money, you will find many good modern shotguns. But on the lower end of the price range, the CZ is okay. The Baikal SxS are okay as well but you'll have to work on them to smooth them up. A decent used gun would be a good option.

I repaired the damaged stock with brass screws, a nail and wood glue. I'd imagine you could use a dowel of the right size to roll the cardboard case to size

Maybe cut the base out with scissors and attatch to the case, and put something like a percussion Cap or cap gun cap in the center,

Load the shell like you would reload a paper shell normally

Asking here too.

What's an Arisaka worth?

What's the differences between the Type 38 and 99, besides caliber?
>>
>>30062452
100- 300 depending on who is buying. Impossible to find ammo and nazis didn't use it so most WW2 collectors don't care for them so the rifles are rather cheap.
>>
>>30062452
lots of factors to the price, condition, mum or ground, extra bits like dust cover or monopod, early or last ditch.

also depends on the knowledge of the buyer and the seller, a seller with no knowledge of grandpas bring back might part with it for $100 but it would actually be worth around $250-400
>>
>>30062452
if you want something for shooting - go with the 99
if you want something for history - go with the 38

I have had 2 Mauser. One was a 7.63. The other a Red 9. They are nice. I sold both of mine though. I didn't want to but desperate times. I did, atleast, sell them to good friends that collect firearms like I do.

So, yes, get one if you can.
>>
>>30064540
If it's in good condition, probably $200 since it's a Remington. Regular Mosin Nagants are worth less than $150, unless things have changed.
>>
>>30064605
this thing looks like a Dragoon updated to 91/30 specs
so it may be worth more then 200 bucks
>>
>>30064605
Yeah... things have changed Anon. Regular ww2 era mosins are going for 250-300 these days. Gun broker has 3 Remington mosins for 550-700. At the last gun show I was at i saw someone offering to buy a Remington mosin for 450. And that was a vendor, so I would guess he would sell it for more than that because he wants to make money too.

my grandfather's colt pistols 1830-1850 pretty sure one's a walker the other one is a dragoon, the walker works fine all matching part numbers, the dragoon needs a screw, I haven't put much effort into dating them because I have only seen them once in a while. my grandfather is in hospice with bone cancer so I'll be inheriting these since my other family members are nogunz. I'll never sell these I also have a wards of westingfield 12 gauge pump looks bad ass with all the oxidation and surface wear on the corners
>>
>>30064631
No, it is an all original Remington M91. All matching numbers. No import marks or anything like that. It is still in great condition too. My shitty phone camera doesn't do it justice. But there are no rust spots. Not pitting in the barrel. The rifling is still very nice. Honestly...i haven't seen a mosin in this good of condition before. And I own 10 and have done work on many many more. My other (favorite) one is a BFPU PU sniper all original matching with no import marks. Got it for $200. Got the Remington for $150 (a few days ago)
