Find out what.
I won't keep you in suspense. It's a M249S.

Great thread op

its no M60E3 but I still dig it
I lost the stock buttstock and swapped with a collapsible one that I picked up for $50.
And added the M249 ACOG
Fukken tasty , good on ya.
Can I ask why? It just seems like so much money for something so pointless. I mean, if you have money to blow, good for you.
And now a quick review, for the guys that have been curious.
After zeroing the ACOG (a quick and dirty zero)
I noticed that the trigger was better than I expected, both lighter and a cleaner break. The reset it well forward of the break.

I wanted it. It's my first belt fed and it's not an NFA item. And I have heard plenty of people shit on the idea of a semi auto SAW.
I also noted that even after a very wet week last week, my loading of 4B1T in my first nutsack resulted in two fires (no more tracers)

We get it, you're poor. Using your logic no successful person would ever drive anything nicer than a low-end commuting car because it's just a means to and end to you. Those who can afford to savor the opulent will.
A barrel swap can be accomplished in well under 30 seconds but not near as fast as an open bolt gun. You have to pull the charging handle, insert a bolt lock into the mag well (which means if you're in the middle of a belt you have to remove the belt) and then do a normal barrel swap. Pull the charging handle back remove the block. Charging handle back forward and your ready to go.

Neat
How much?

>It just seems like so much money for something so pointless.
You could say that about the overwhelming majority of firearm purchases that people here make.
It's pointless for me to collect old steel frame wondernines, because my Glock 17 already covers the niche of a full-size handgun for me while being simpler and having cheaper replacement parts.
But I love obscure bullshit like my Star 30M, so I buy them anyway.

get a gatcrank on it
>>30048509
$8100 shipped $10 for the transfer and about $3k in accessories (I have more than what I've showed, but I showed all the good stuff)
>>30048562
So you got it brand new?
Neat.
Convert it to .458 SOCOM and get a can
Cool hope you enjoy it.
Never seen one posted before.
I do have to ask though you spent all of that money and LOST the butt stock? Heck, how do you lose any butt stock?
>>30048606
Pretty sure he didn't mean that literally, just that he took it off. Like "Lose the attitude, you fucking faggot."
>>30048631
I've been on here long enough to not rule it out lol.
>>30048562
See, that I have difficulty understanding, surely for 11,000 big ones you could get a real Full auto (not a SAW, but a full auto none the less)
I dont like the semi auto version, its a different weapon system entirely from the actual m249 and that ruins it for the price to me. If you are going to spend that kind of money there are better alternatives to this. If you are doing some sort of crazy american army shit collection then fine but I personally cannot justify this weapon system.

would be nice in SHTF
with some specific modifications it would remove kebab of many types with beautiful overkill
>>30048533
Smartest post in this thread so far
>>30048671
I can't afford to feed a full auto. In the end this is cheaper, much less than a M16.
>>30048606
I removed and replaced.
>>30048220
>semi-auto belt fed
it's like you're not even trying
>>30048305
>>30048315
Why is the tripod so small?
>>30049035
It's an M122 tripod. I belive your supposed to dig a foxhole behind it.
