I bought a .308 magpul PRS and a rifle length buffer tube.
I know I'm not putting it on right because I don't have the lpk yet, but that doesn't explain why the stock is stopping short of going all the way to the lower...
Can somebody help me understand?

How far threaded is the buffer tube for one, is it actually over the buffer retainer pin ~1/3 of the way like it should be?

Is it an A2 dimension, because the PRS is specifically for an A1/A2 buffer tube. Can work with spacers on carbine length, but that is besides the point. Aero website doesn't say if it is an A2 dimension (narrower than other buffer tubes) so that may have something to do with it hence the stock not sliding all the way on.
