Hey /K/ I am a kinda new gun fan. I know a bit about the big name guns and I own a couple shotguns and pistols but I have yet to get anything expensive. So I ask you /K/ what do you think of the Rhino. I really want a revolver and I like the unique look of the rhino but I haven't heard much about the performance. Does anyone here own it and hohow do you like it.

is this a meme

I guess if the image amuses you. IDK just asking for thoughts.

Don't buy the rhino if you're new to guns
It's an alloy gun and a revolver, read up on how to use them
You'll blow your thumb off if you hold it like a semiautomatic
Other than that, I love mine

Wow, I had no idea they came in gold like that. I actually really like it for some reason. I guess it's like a gold Desert Eagle, once you've gone for a ridiculous giant novelty gun you might as well go whole hog.

Someone say rhino

I find the trigger leaves alot to be desired. D/A is smooth, single action is alright, the internal hammer is annoying to cock, its too small and a bit heavy.
The main problem with the trigger is the reset. Mine gets stuck if I don't fully release it combined with at the stage where it gets stuck there is a click you can hear and feel followed by a second click when its at full release.

Accuracy on the 5" seems good.
Recoil on .38 and +P is nothing
Recoil on .357 is comfortable and there is very little muzzle rise at all.

Final thoughts say away from the stainless if you have OCD fucking powder residue everywhere.

exactly why I got it
maybe now the guys at my ffl think im cool
>>30027253
are you comparing it to revolvers? because compared to all my semiautomatics, the trigger is smooth as butter, it's very very nice
>>
>>30028177
Yeah compared to other revolvers, triggers on hammer semi and striker semi are a different ball game.
>>
It's definitely a cool gun, but I don't know if I'd get it as a first gun. You'll always turn heads with it, it does it's job well, etc. It is also very expensive and only worth getting in 6" or 2" in my opinion. 2" for the expensive cc slightly less practical option (low capacity compared to semi autos but nice recoil) or 6" for the big ridiculous gun. But seriously, if I were looking for a first gun all over again, it'd be a shotgun, AR or service pistol. Those are more utilitarian in nature. Rhinos are novelties unless you're Yankee Marshall

Hey, Chance in hell you can provide us with some better images.

Like side, top and bottem along with front and back?

With and the cylinder in place and without would be nice as well.

OP stated that he owns a few pistols and shotguns already. He wants a cool, expensive gun.

You want a gun without a finish?
>>
>>30031237
I wanted to tell you you're wrong but actually, the firing mechanism and hammer and area around that is a bit disproportional to the rest of the gun.
Also the bottom rail.
If rihno only had those fixes and a hexaconical trigger guard, like the cylinder, it'd be beautifullest
>>
I'd like to see a Rhino with slab sides instead of the "holes" above the barrel. (I'm not sure what to call them, it's kind of like a vent rib but I don't think it qualifies as one at this scale.)

Sure, it'd be heavy as hell, but damn it'd be sci-fi as fuck.
>>
>>30031522
the rhino is actually ridiculously light for how big it is. the whole front vent assembly is all alloy

dear rhinoanon can you give me a measurment about how wide the rhino is at the suggested spot? trying to figure out if that beast will fit my unsiversal holster. also do you have a holster for the rhino?
>>
>>30032097
nope, I think chiappa makes one, your best bet would be someone who does custom leather or kydex work
it's about 2.2 in
>>
>>30032908
thx m8. thinking about going with the 4'' to avoid holster troubles.

>>30032908
I got the one from chiappa. It's owb right hand only and very expensive, but that aside it's very nice.

This, and it doesn't even have the barrel swap utility of the 2006m. Add that on to the retarded false hammer and you have a lemon of a gun.
