I challenge you to find a knife as useless as the TOPS lil Roughneck.
(Mallninja and Zombiefetish cutlery does not count, also only single bladed knives.)
That doesn't look that ridiculous, considering "other" knives out there. Looks more like a small, sharpened, prybar. Made of good steel too. Trying to fit into a edc/utility market maybe?
I wouldn't ever buy it though. Handle's too short to be useful to me, blade's too thick to shave wood and too short to baton (I prefer not to baton though). Most importantly, it's waaaaaaaaay too heavy for what it is.
But if someone gave me one, I wouldn't spit on them. There are far more "offensive" knives...

It isn't a bad knife by any means but it is .25 inches longer than what I can legally carry in via boot, pocket or neck. I'd rather carry some of https://www.topsknives.com/knives/blade-length/0.38-2.44 or risk going with the Wolf Pup series ( the Wolf Pup XL in regions that allow for a larger blade and the Wolf Pax 2 for camping ) when possible.

The Lil Roughneck is inherently "better" than that knife. I base this on: the 1095 Rowen Steel(edge retention and durability), and the construction of the knife. It would be very difficult to break the Lil Roughneck in a practical situation.
That being said, I'd rather have a quality folding knife than the Lil Roughneck. I'd take a $40 Spyderco Tenacious for example instead, unless for some reason I was prying a wood crate open.

I see your argument, but I disagree. You could easily cut rope, zip ties, boxes, etc, with it. It is, after all, a sharpened piece of steel. Cutting food(width), preparing game(width), making wood shavings(width and edge geometry), splitting wood (length), or using it for defense(length and 3 finger handle) would all be examples of things it would do poorly, if at all.
I'm playing Devil's Advocate here, I'd never buy it. Too expensive, too heavy, too short a handle. Almost useless for bushcraft. But to say that you wouldn't be able to use it for most everyday tasks you use a knife for (practical situations) is a bit exaggerated.
