Thoughts on the kel tec sub 2000? I just got my PAL (Canadian gun licence) in the mail and im looking for a plinker/defense gun. I personally like it because it's one of the only rifles that uses pistol mags and can therefore legally hold ten rounds and mag capacity is important to me. If you have experience with them give me some input.

Manipulations are a pain in the ass
The charging handel is on the wrong place and hard as fuck. reloading on a short time is possible but difficult.
everything beside of this is good up to top

Ahh I could totally see how charging it would be a pain.

Anyone with opinions on the Beretta cx 9 storm?
>>
>>30007356
looks ugly as hell
>>
>>30007356
They function well, but like most pistol caliber carbines accuracy falls to shit at range
>>
>>30007356
Why not a hi-point?
>>
>>30007281
Charging handle is a little tough but totally fine if you're not a weakling.
The Sub-2000 is the most reliable gun I own, and I own a lot. It's never once jammed on me with all sorts of different ammo through it including reloads.
>>
>>30007356
Excellent rifle. It really performs well.
>>
>>30007281
It's the best pistol caliber carbine that I'm aware of.
>>
>>30007356
It's a cutie and I love mine. They're not as cheap though but well worth it imo.
>>
I love mine. Get a Gen 2 if you can find it.
>>
>>30007281
I really like mine as well.
Folds into a nice small space, mag compatability with my pistol, and have had 0 problems.
I make reloads special for mine using Hodgon's "Longshot" powder - it is still a pistol powder, but slower burning than most. I can use the reloads in my pistols, but I get a really decent velocity boost out of the extra barrel length.

Pretty good, I have one in .40 and I love it. Perfect truck gun. Plus, you can fold it up to just a bit bigger than a fullsize pistol and throw it in a bag with no need for a CCW.

What the fuck? The charging handle is in such a great place. You can unfold it and charge it in one swift motion.

What did you guys pay for yours?

I love mine, but for the love of God don't take it apart more than you would to field strip it.

The trigger is a PITA to get back together, and the only thing holding those tiny fucking springs together is the receiver.

Buy a calico space gun and be done with it.

Calico is probably the least reliable 9mm carbine out there.

My father bought one in 2011. We used 9mm Federal, WWB, Tula, Blazer and some Winchester 127gr +P+ Ranger-T rounds. We used OEM Glock 17rd & aftermarket 33rd mags. We had 2 50rd drum mags. We let my noguns fiancee shoot it and she somehow limp wristed 15 rounds firing my Beretta 92FS before.

Worked every time.

>>30008792
Um, thats the whole point of the red lion fore-end.
So, yeah, you can.

it is light, reliable if kept clean and fed good ammo. will jam when that rear tube gets gummy. shoots dirty in general, dirtying mags

It is not durable, the front sight can be flimsy and move around radially on the barrel!!! this can be fixed with things like glue, or a new Al front sight aftermarket. not a big issue.

It is plenty accurate enough for what it is. the price is good too. really light and fun gun.

charging handle will slap you if you shoot absentmindedly! watch out

>>30010913
Yeah yeah I know. I just want it just in case though.
I really don't give a shit if I go to jail if I get sent there for defending my house.

Replace the hammer, since it's plastic.

It's good aside from that bullshit.
