Seen some fucked up shit before of what I think was a US marine lying on the ground injured and out in the open in some middle eastern city, and you could see the bullets flying by him. He's lazily kind of lying there then you see the bullet that kills him go into his side, and then see his radio/whatever was in his backpack light on fire while he lays there dead/dying. Fucked up. Lend lease may have "helped" but by no means did it cause them the win. Lend-lease lent to 16% of Soviet tanks/units.
They had more blood to bleed than the Germans. Simple as that. Lend-lease was to get Stalin to stay in the fight and not seek a separate peace with the Nazis. Once the Soviets moved their factories further east they started mass producing their vehicles and equipment, around 1942-43.
The workers were basically slaves and worked night and day in horrible conditions to make tanks that needed to have it's gears shifted with a mallet.
But it fucking worked.
