Holographic? If you like kikeshit get a Meprolight Tru-Dot RDS. Takes a single AA battery to keep it on for 15,000 hours. Plus it's auto on/off. You pick it up, it turns on. 2 hour shut-off without movement. I got mine for $350. I have no complaints.

I mean, it'll be better than anything under 400$ by other brands. But, spend 450, get aimpoint pro, or spend 550 and get the RMR from trijicon.
I have used all three for work, and by far the best is Aimpoint in my opinion, and many others in LE/military

Never heard of that, did all kinds of research on them, I got the duel illuminated green 9moa dot, and the rmr01 3moa red dot.
Only heard positive things, and seem them used alot on competition and for military. Never heard anybody complain about the rmr.
Now the trijicon RX I have heard about zeroing problems and washout when aiming from indoors to outdoors. The duel illuminated has some washout, but this is to be expected.
Trijicon and aimpoint have great customer service reputations as well. EoTech not so much.
EoTech is acceptable for competition, but the fragility of the lens, as well as the use of AA batteries, makes them heavier and prone to losing zero as well if not mounted with a larue mount or something of equal quality.
What gun is the rmr on or was on? I am curious because I have bought two.

They work well as intended, but they are heavy, are not study like aimpoint, (not even trijicon has that level of indestructibility)
EoTech was recently sued, and I see broken ones come in and out of the shop all the time compared to other sights. They scratch up easier, and I have seen more fail in competition and in the field than other "big" brands.

Aimpoint are very nice. I haven't had the cash to get any trijicon stuff yet but I'd like an acog or something. Honestly the 552 fits my applications well and other than annoyingly short battery life it's not bad. Just my opinion tho. As for the lawsuit, mine personally will never operate under thoes extream conditions so im not too worried about it.

I've used mine in cold northern Michigan winters and hot humid summers with no problems whatsoever. I won't be going to the north pole or near the equator any time soon so I don't really care. If you're military and will be operating in those parts then sure maybe that's cause for concern but as a civilian it probably won't affect me.
