the current philly/pa group has been meeting for about 3 years now, we do pub meets in philly, range trips to a variety of area ranges, urban exploration, trips up to easton for SARCO heritage guild, gun shows, project meets, camping, bonfires, etc. I am pretty sure most of the guys in the group have an email of some form on the map.

Dude I've met some amazing people from hosting /k/ meetups. The average kommando is a lurker, they're good people that watch and listen, and the majority of /k/ meetup attendees are those lurkers. Seriously, I've made some great friends out of kommandos. Slept the night on their couches, had dinner with their families, played action figures with their kids, been invited to two weddings. I have close 100/kommandos saved in my phone's contact list, quite a few I chat with outside of NuggetFest.

I've been hosting /k/ meetups since 2014 mate. I get that you misunderstood my statement. To clarify, I was saying that the alleged "trannies" and furries that make threats of unwanted sexual advances and otherwise intentionally uncomfortable behavior are trolls. The transexuals/homosexuals/furries/attack helicopters/ammosexuals/heterosexuals/bisexuals etc that have been to NuggetFest are all chill. One guy did a little too much memeing once but I chatted with him about it and he apologized and mellowed out.
NuggetFest is an equal opportunity event, including this Summer's NuggetFest which will be event #8 that I've hosted. I don't mind if someone is the previously mentioned sexual identities. Frankly, I don't give a shit. NuggetFest is about that, it's about camping out, target shooting, making new friends and overall enjoying a weekend away from the normal day to day hustle and bustle of work/college.
99.99% of any strife anyone gets over this entire topic is and stays right here on the internet. The only times I've heard someone at NuggetFest be mildly perturbed at any of this is the concern that "dressing up" would eventually overshadow the actual themes of NuggetFest which are; Target Shooting, Camping out, Cooking around the campfire, Hiking, and a General appreciation of the outdoors.
Which, I assure you all, regardless of what other shared interests are prevalent at NuggetFest, they will not interfere with the core points of the event.
