Getting it for $200. Also I'm in CA so all funs are usually $50 more than everywhere else in America.

It seems like you've failed at life, anon.

Still might sudoku one day. My heritage demands it.

Looks good! Now you just need a few bx-25 mags
>>
>>29987640
whered you find this deal man
>>
>>29987640
can do a lot worse than a 10/22, especially new. Bit pricey but I haven't been fun shopping in ages, maybe that's just what they cost now.

Fun plinking gun. Put a cheap scope on it and draw dicks on targets from 50 yards easy.
>>
>>29987746
Jk

That is a pretty good deal

I bought the stainless takedown for $359
>>
>>29987749
>CA
I'd rather not get fucked by Jamal in prison.
>>
>>29987758
Gunsamerica. The shop is based in Pasadena. The seller had some pretty sweet deals.
>>
>>29987777
The takedown makes me feel hot and heavy. But stainless makes me cringe.
>>
What's the max capacity on .22 Mags there in Cali?

On the one hand, it's a great 10/22. On the other hand, it's fucking 400ish after tax for a fucking 10/22.

At that price, I'd get something special snowflake like an M6 scout (co-owned one with my BFF and he got it when we both moved, such a fun toy).
>>
>>29987797
good deal op, considering turners has ""deals"" for 250 plus tax and dros on that gun curious whats the sellers name?

Dont be a pussy

That's the point.

Not OP, but I figure this is a decent thread to ask. If I've never shot .22 before and I'm used to .223, do you think I'll still enjoy it?
>>
>>29987967
You basically wont be blown away. .22 is enjoyable because the recoil is novel compared to basically every other caliber. Some could say it might seem boring, but honestly it's refreshing to shoot something with almost 0 recoil.
>>
>>29987967
>>29987985
this
.223 is very light recoil (especially in a semi-auto). Compared to that, .22lr is almost undetectable. You feel the clicking and sliding of the action more than you actually feel the recoil. You can tell you fired because the gun kind of twitches in your hand, and with hearing protection on the action can seem louder than the gunshot.

why is no one checking these quads

You did real good, OP. Take care of it, and it'll take care of you. Since you can't have 25 round mags in Commiefornia, you might be interested in the baseplates that let you attach three 10-rounders. There are a few accessories that can help spruce up the rifle, too.

A polymer buffer will get rid of the annoying clack when the bolt moves back. You can fork over $15 for a Volquartsen one, or $10 for a package of three red ProMag ones. ProMag is a shitty company but this is a product that's nearly impossible to fuck up, mine's worked fine.

A KIDD auto bolt release will also make reloading quicker, since you won't have to fumble with the factory bolt release. This product will run you $10. You can also modify the factory one to work this way if you have a file.

Tech sights are good aperture sights for the 10/22. They cost about $75 for a front and rear sight pair.

Good job OP, a 10/22 was my first gun. You'll do great as long as you practice.
>>
>>29988066
Thanks familia. This is my first gun that isnt black powder, so I'm excited. I'm also know I'm definitely going to upgrade everything I possibly can on it, so thanks for the suggestions.
>>
>>29987679
Poor excuse fag at 18 I bought my first handgun cash 480 bucks.
>>
>>29987640
That's a very good deal but layaway on 200 dollar gun that emberessing
>>
>>29988105
Any time. The cool thing about the 10/22 is that you get exactly what you pay for. So while $200 will get you a solid rifle, you can always invest more in it later instead of having to buy nice straight out the gate.

Also I got the Magpul Hunter X-22 stock for mine in black and it's A++++. Granted, it costs a little more than half what you spent on the rifle, so you may wanna wait on that. If you're interested in synthetic stocks, the Hogue overmolded rubber and nylon stocks are both pretty good at a lower price range.
>>
>>29987749
I feel like the only person who likes the stock rotary mags. They're like 1/5 the size and barely half the capacity.

That bx25 is just needlessly long
>>
>>29988130
To clarify, I have $200 to spare, but honestly I'd rather spread the payment out over the next few weeks than drop the cash now.
>>
>>29988066

>You can also modify the factory one to work this way if you have a file.

I've done this and it's a pretty easy, cheap way.
>>
>>29988153
Actually I started a thread on here earlier about a 10/22 bullpup stock, while it's super pricey I have to have it. One thing at a time though.
>>
>>29987797
thinking of going up there and seeing what they got desu hope the inventory is as good as the prices

you recommend any good shops/sites to go gun spelunking at/on specific to CA?
>>
>>29987797
Shit, I need to go check that out, I'm like 10 minutes from Pasadena.
>>
>>29988539
Guns Direct in Burbank has a pretty good inventory of new stuff and the prices are average.

Also in Burbank, Aegis are assholes and their pricing isn't great, but they get a lot of weird milsurp and other vintage shit. (I went in there a while back and they had a Nambu and a lot of older wheelguns, stuff like that.)
>>
>>29988539 >>29988562

I will say theyre a pawn shop so the selection is limited. But they had quite a few gems for the price, so it's worth a look.
>>
>>29988113
So... illegally? Nice comparison
