As a die hard M14 fan. I wouldnt want to carry it around in a combat scenario over an M110. It may be blasphemous but you can do way more accuracy wise with an AR platform than an M14. The price of an M14 variant that could touch it accuracy wise would alone make it the inferior rifle.
