I did. Bought the 28" walnut for the nicer stock (hated the straight one) then bought the 20" separately.
The spare barrels aren't matched to the shotguns like the ones you get with it are. They're just spare loose barrels. Massive majority of them fit, not all do. The little metal tab on my 20" barrel was about ~0.2mm or so too big and that was enough for it to not slot in properly (had been cut by a blunt tool). Was easy to fix just with a metal file and now it works fine, slots in perfectly.
