Trump although hated has very little concrete evidence of wrongdoing the way Clinton does. Trump will be able to Maintain the support he has and will gain voters who absolutely despise Clinton and who may not support Trump but absolutely refuse to allow Clinton to win.
The dems don't have that, they Have Clinton who like Trump is massively disliked by Americans and a large number of dems and independents who either won't show up to the polls or will vote against her, as well she doesn't energize her party base and only has her vagina to run on. Bernie Sanders can get the independents to go for him, the people who are on the fence trying to decide which candidate they hate less will go to Bernie if he is the candidate, because outside of core Trump supporters there are many republican voters who will switch sides and vote bernie because they don't hate him.
