Ok sell me on 9mm. I got the 40 meme because police use it and its supposed to have better stopping power than 9mm and i have 18 rounds. So what 4 more rounds for a tiny fucking bullet? 9mm sounds like its for fucking unloading on a street corner. The recoil isnt THAT bad to me.

9mm isn't really some ineffective tiny bullet. With the right defense rounds, it's just as effective as anything else. "stopping power" is a ridiculous meme that I'm surprised hasn't died yet. 9mm reliably gets penetration and expansion in order to provide solid kills, otherwise it still wouldn't be as absolutely widespread as it is.
The reason most PDs probably use .40 is most likely due to incentives and special deals from government liquidations.

You know idk if it is worth trying to get a whole new gun and sell all your .40 and shit. I mean, .40 will kill people too. It's not the best choice but it will do the job. It will cost you, and research wear points if you plan to do a lot of shooting and make sure you change your recoil spring regularly and be religious about it, but when it comes down to it shooting someone with .40 is going to hurt just as bad. So I guess I'm coming down from my high horse a little bit.
I still wouldn't ever buy a .40 though...

Nice collection, I wont nitpick because you dont have an assload of surplus garbage $200 pistols. I hope you didnt pay full retail on that G22. you can get great deals on LEO trade ins which will often come with night sights installed. I picked one up from aim surplus a while back for $320. Gun ended up being brand new never issued. Copper grease was in the rails from the factory and the frame was brand new hardly handled so not a glock refurb. Didnt hold onto it long tho, Didnt like the caliber. You will enjoy that ruger, I love my wheelguns and 357 is an excellent, very versatile cartridge.
