Alright /k/ommandos, who makes the best AR-15
>>29947980
By what metric
What's your application?
Best for long distance?
Best for close quarters?
Best durability?
Best ergos?
What is "Best" is subjective and has a million answers
>>29947980
You do....
>If you're not a complete 'tard
>>29947980
Armalite: the standard all other rifles are compared to. Why do you think they call them AR's? The original (A)ssault (R)file was made by Armalite exclusively for the (AR)my.
>>29947980
AR brand AR-15
Reminder: If it's not a Colt, it's not really an AR-15.
>>29948069
That's a funny way to spell COLT M4
>>29948106
Colt is entry level bullshit.

>muh roll mark
Memes aside, colt has been eclipsed in quality and innovation for awhile. Not implying that the guns don't do what is expected but a brand alone isn't enough.
What AR is most reliable? I'm not too concerned about performance otherwise, mediocre accuracy is fine, a little extra weight is fine, I just don't want it crapping out on me when I need it.
For reference, my hobby is crawling around in dirt and mud and snow pretending I'm an 3L1T3 0P3R47OR. So far my Mosin has sufficed because I've been pretending that I'm a Soviet conscript fighting for the Motherland, but now I want to pretend I'm in Afghanistan or Iraq or Vietnam or IDK. Problem is where I live there are tons of bears and mountain lions, and Jesus Christ it would be embarrassing to be found mauled to death dressed in reenactment gear and a muddy jammed AR.
Windham government rifle (or any fullsize 20in ar15)
1/7 barrel
20in barrel for maximum 5.56 ballistics
Longer sight radius unless your one of those faggots who gets a dissipator
Full size rifle and better then a m4gery
Less recoil then 16in rifle (even tho ar15 rifles barley have recoil compare to ak's)
Classic look compare to everybody and deads grandmas m4.
