Why do manufacturers extend the grip as well with extended mags? It looks like shit and has no purpose on full sized guns unless your gonna double hand it like a long sword.

Iit gives people the option of a few extra bullets and a bigger grip if they don't get a good grip on the regular model.
I don't think it looks terrible and its pretty innovative. If you don't like it then don't use it
