We all know full auto fire is meant for suppressing targets and it's not like in the movies where you see people spray accurately but would full auto be good for a self defense situation?
Yes, if you are assuming the self defense scenario would be within the normal 7 yards
Also you would have to train with full auto so you don't dump half your mag into the air

If you've practiced FA control, and whatever/whomever your target is is within 30', and you don't Swiss cheese the fuck out of your house I'd imagine it would be

I have a skorpion, for being such an awkward hand gun it is really nice shooting and surprisingly accurate. Can ding steel at 50 yards with ease.
