Is this the most /k/ movie there is?
>>29936043
Not even close
No. Pic related is
>>29936043
Gonna have to say Stalker.
>russian
>it's Stalker
>kind of interesting
>but also kinda boring
>strange religious interlude
>guns barely feature at all
>"the whole world is a prison"
>>29936043
Not a movie, but Band Of Brothers is pretty damn /k/
>>29936043
falling down is the most /k/ movie.
>>29936043
Try again, nigger. Pic related.
>>29937529
The bank scene/getaway is one of the most intense cinematic scenes ever filmed
>>29936081
Thank you. That movie is badass.
I saw it in the theater and the sound effects were simply brilliant.
I later found that they made wooden structures and recorded the sound they made as they were smashed to bits with real cannon!
>>29937542
>dat sound off the buildings
>>29937529
Love the movie for the most part but the ending was pretty boring I think.
>>29937654
Really? What about that shot though as Pacino is holding DeNiro's hand as he's dying and then you see the runway lights. Goddam! cliche ending aside(cop wins bad guy dies) I liked it a lot. What pissed me off was how they'd let a guy like Waingro on a job last min without really knowing him aside from a recommendation.
>>29937654
And how quickly and quietly Waingro slipped away after DeNiro put him on the diner parking lot.
I love collateral. It's such a comfy yet good /k/ movie
Battle of Neretva?
Das Boot?
The last 4 minutes of Thief?
Assault on Precinct 13?
Battle of Neretva is really excellent though

The only reason I look down at Lord of the Rings was because the Two towers crushed this movie at the Oscars. Because of that they didn't bother with continuing and making Master and Commander into a series.
>tfw no Stalingrad mentioned
Really? It's pretty decent.

Brat 2

Wanted.

this was my Come and See experience
>/k/ tells me to watch this movie
>they say it's about the horrors of war, trauma, very realistic, well made, all that jazz
>start watching it
>good premise, the rhythm looks kinda funky, maybe it's just Russian
>fuck me this is child acting at its best
>fuck me, the dialogues are poorly written and everything sounds/looks janky because of it
>the girl enters the scene, might get better from here on
>nope. Still child acting, funky dialogues and weird artsy-movie-wannabe sequences
>is action the only redeeming quality of this movie?
>quit by minute 50 because I can't stand the actors
boom.
>>29936043
It's not /k/ because there's no real dakka. It's a great movie for thought, but the focus isn't really the war and action, instead it's how the war impacts Florya.
>>29941577
same
How about some /o/ in your /k/? Even a little weeb tossed in.
Blue Ruin
>>29937765
I recently watched this again for the second time since it came out, and honestly I'm pretty convinced it might be the best action movie ever made. Or at least like top 5
>>29941738
Ronin is fucking great if you like guns and cars. Man deniro has really fallen...
>>29937542

This is the only correct answer.
>>29936043
hardly. especially when "Ravenous" happens to be the most /k/

:
Brat 2, Collateral, John Wick
Thinking of another set today
Brest Fortress, 71: Into the Fire, Tora Tora Tora, Ocвoбoждeниe
>>29942076
>Brest Fortress, 71: Into the Fire, Tora Tora Tora, Ocвoбoждeниe
>not 1985 Unknown Soldier
Every thread, same mentions, including movies that were regular action movies that just happened to show 1 or 2 realistic things that are as basic as reloading. Why do you guys get a fucking hard on and praise a movie because it shows one gun operate in a non-retarded way for a second in one scene of a movie?
>>29936043
How is Come And See /k/-related? It's literally just a soviet propaganda movie
>>29941793
>hipster faggot with an M1A, the movie.
>>29936136
>boring
It's called slow and you have ADHD like me, calm down.
Also it's a cool commentary on censorship by the Communist leaders in Russia at the time of the Strugatsky Brother's writings.
It doesn't feature but one pistol and a fucked up tank to my knowledge but the idea is that the Zone had a karma or concious system that preemptively retaliated to what it felt or deduced as a threat. I can understand where the Zone was coming from in that aspect. It could of also just been stalkerboo lore but kept the area relatively safer to guide or stalk in.
I'm sure in the surrounding town that practically everyone was packing if they could afford it, probably where the assbandits were to ambush people as they returned from the railroad tracks.
>>29937521
yeah pretty much this
>>29942181
>shows one gun operate in a non-retarded way for a second in one scene of a movie
That's really rare, anon.
>>29942040
I wouldn't worry about it
