I'm not sure how things are in America, but in canuck gun stores I could buy a nugget for $240 or a SKS for $280. I think Russian surplus is generally cheaper here though, SVT-40s go for $350-400.

That's a good or good+ bore, friend. Small amounts of frosting in the grooves and on the lands, but the lands mostly sharp. It's not a bad bore at all, but not pristine.
