So, I know .22LR is a pretty shitty defensive round, but what about .22 Mag out of something like pic related or similar?
Would running it with Hornadys make for a decent defensive carbine?
I have better funs with better rounds, but I'm curious what you guys think.
.45 ACPs are good shit though, you could have funwith a vectoe

Good luck finding one.

Not OP but last month my LGS has like 3 of them on the rack. wanted 5-600 for them I think. Was there recently but I wasn't looking for these so I don't know if they've still got em

nothing will ever make 22 mag a "good defensive carbine." a 30 rd barrage of .22 mag would surely fuck someone up though. just is not going to have the wounding capacity of a larger round
i like the design on that gun though. i would buy one in a larger caliber. makes me think of a modernized uzi, and having grown up on 80s action movies that appeals to me.
that mag scares me, too.

Needs an RMR instead of those irons and bulky sight, and an SBR stamp, and an angled foregrip
How much do these cost to feed?
I live in a cuck state where basically all semi autos are banned but I think rimfire might get around the assault weapon ban

thats not an uzi you retard

If you got the feeding issues sorted out, then it could work for the extremely recoil sensitive

I have a cobray mac as my nightstand gun, the sight picture on it is hilarious as the front sight is so short it hides behind the low profile charging knob, so I picked up a high profile charging knob and i'm currently using that as a replacement front sight.

>rimfire autoloader
>defensive anything
a .25ACP carbine could be interesting though
