Alright /k/ I'm buying a new classic eastern bloc pistol.
Should I get a:

You can see my theme at this point. I'm already leaning heavy towards the Tokarev but the drawback is that I can find 9x18 easy in stores and 7.62x25 I can only find online.

Get a Makarov from J&G Sales. Mine came in 3 days, currently sitting at the LGS waiting for me to go get it. Price was $330 something after shipping and adding a spare magazine. Has the arsenal book, both grips, etc.

There's really no tutorial needed. If you can detail strip your Mak and reassemble it, you're good. You're not altering anything, just replacing the Bulgarian parts with (presumably) better machined east German ones.

I don't know if there's a kit that contains all those east German parts, but you can buy all individualally from several places online.
