I have found this Colt Python at a gun store 4h drive from home.
Not more pics on it on the web. Suposedly its in good condition internally and just ok outside...
Price is around 550$ (480€), and not for sale online (id never buy it without inspecting it but however)
Worth the drive just to see it? In which condition do you think it has to be for a good deal at said price?

Considering that in general full sized revolvers are not very liked. There isnt even Revolver division in IPSC due to lack of interested people.

Have seen King Cobras, plenty of .38s and a few Anacondas. And as said, people usually prefer to buy S&Ws... or cheap Taurus, Astras that are S&W clones.

Check the timing, make sure it lines up. MAke sure there is not a massive gap between the barrel and cylinder.

My 6" stainless was $1150 and felt like a steal. A $550 Python is either beat to absolute dogshit or is haunted.

They are affordable in europooristan. 6 inch versions are sold for 800-1100€ depending on the production year and condition.
As long as it doesn't look like it just got fished out of a pond you should probably pick it up for that price.
Even if they're not as sought after in euroland, they're still not making any more of them.
